My concern is the reports that there's HIV genetics in this virus. HIV is a timebomb, big-time.How will the survivors be affected in the next decade?

Will the future show that the virus was engineered to affect some demographics over others?
So far the data shows more severe effects on older people, men more than women.
Economically the effect is greater in places with individual freedom when those freedoms are diminished.
Did someone find that to be a useful device to manipulate people? Is the virus an intentional, planned effort?
Is it not coincidental that the virus appears to have originated in a country with dictatorial controls who has been found to be stealing technology from other free market owners for decades?

    Welcome to the Gulch.
In India? We are almost neighbors, only about 12 hours flying time.
I look forward to your perspective on Objectivism, Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged, and on the other topics brought up here.

I think we lack enough solid data on the virus for us to make a definitive decision about how public and private infrastructure must change.
If the virus persists and IF it is significantly more deadly/debilitating than common flu then there must be huge changes in both human interaction habits and perhaps in population density.
The latter probably would force wider spread of residences and greater use of long distance work spaces.
Commercial/office/retail spaces as we have known them may be vastly changed. Many businesses must either change or be shuttered permanently.
Thus far, I do not have enough information to make an accurate forecast.
If government edicts do not interfere, the free market will provide solutions that satisfy needs of customers.
