Since it is a WELL KNOWN FACT that 'gun control' laws only criminalize the Law Abiding Gun Owners, passing more is just wasted time and performs no valid function.

On the other hand..

Since More acts of Violence against the RIGHTS of the CITIZENS in a day, than all acts of violence, regardless of weapons used, getting rid of the CORRUPTION IN GOVERNMENT would be a better route.

IN-DEPTH INVESTIGATIONS into the lives of ALL POLITICIANS, Bureaucrats, Political Appointees, and--- ESPECIALLY 'judges'.

There is no "Constitutional Right" to hold public office.

The PARAMOUNT RIGHT of WE, the People is to KNOW exactly WHO we elect to positions of POWER OVER THE PEOPLE.

IF, in their own rules, they CANNOT own a firearm, should they be able to hold office?

Can't wait for some right-wing wacko to hit a Democratic baseball game and shoot up their people. Oh, wait... Dems have bodyguards don't they? And you don't see right-wing people going on shooting rampages because they're the law-abiding ones! Go figure...

How about this, Democrats. You guys lead from the front. Disarm yourselves and dismiss your bodyguards. Voluntarily remove yourselves from office in those cities in which you run which have out-of-control violence problems. Put your money where your mouth is. When you do, I'll listen to what you have to say. Until then, it's just more progressive hypocrisy.

I think we should add to that, that every single one of those you listed should have to pass a test on knowledge of our US Constitution.

60 years ago, the "average" was 100.

Thanks to the lack of HIGHLY INTELLIGENT teachers, THAT average, by the same scoring would be in the low 70's.

For instance; A LOW IQ 'teachert' CANNOT 'teach' ABOVE their own ability to comprehend the subject, and you get a class of LOW IQ students.

IF you put a 150 IQ Teacher in front of the same class, you will get a class fuill of HIGH ACHIEVERS because the high IQ Teacher can TEACH the 'slow learners' HOW TO THINK AND LEARN.

Skill sets that average and lower DO NOT possess.

There is much more to teaching than IQ. A 150 IQ teacher would most likely be bored to death. A knowledge of the subject which is being taught is the most important along with the desire to teach. I have a high IQ and never was able to teach Chemistry or Mathematics which I was educated in. Whether one has high IQ or low IQ, one must want to learn. Forceful approaches whether by parents or school teachers will not make a difference, all you will get students that just want to pass tests and not have an interest in the subject. Maybe mommy like teachers can result in a student feeling better about himself (I must admit that I prefer the generic pronouns rather than going along with the mentally defective attempt to degenderize any usage of a word) will not result in him wanting to learn.

By the way, shouting does nothing but making your text harder to read.

Sometimes I use BIG WORDS to slow down your thought processes.

It's not 'shouting', it is EMPHASIZING to bring attention to the value the words contain to the conversation.

Do you spend a lot of time looking for things to fuss over?

I just do not like concepts which related by from words to have some kind of emotional expression added to them. I and most everyone on this forum can get your idea without some kind of necessary slow down of reading. We are not children who may not be able to understand text without some kind of help in understanding it. If you have something to say, just say it in standard print and if you coin new concepts just give your definitions.

Corruption is the stepchild of government. I mean, why would someone go into government unless they could get power and money on the side?

More and more digging up dirt on people's private lives (once they start running for office), would, I think just make things worse.--Although, I think gun control should be vigorously, and intransigently, fought.

The Brett Kavanaugh confirmation is one of the most disgusting displays of the "Politics of Personal Destruction" I have ever seen.

There have been some really vicious ones, but that one took the cake.
