Having had Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead recommended to me by two people I respect, it seemed to make sense to read both.

Am interested in finding out more about different interpretations of the message(s) within Ayn Rand's work, especially as I am now reading her lecture book The Virtue of Selfishness.

Look forward to interacting.

The Virtue of Selfishness is a good one to start with for the non-fiction. She developed an entire philosophy in order to project her ideal heroes in fictional form.

For background and analysis of the fiction in the novels there are Ayn Rand's The Romantic Manifesto and Robert Mayhew's collections: Essays on Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged, Essays on Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead, Essays on Ayn Rand's We the Living, and Essays on Ayn Rand's Anthem.
