Michael Obama’s former chief of staff is showing the typical corruption of the wanna be king’s tenure. Things aren’t going well for the Demonrats.
Phony MAGA attack is backfiring spectacularly.

Not only that but if the intended recipient knows that one is issued for than and tries to avoid it, they can be held in contempt for that act. At least in some jurisdictions.

I believe you are correct. There is no such defense as "refusing" to accept the subpoena. You refuse on pain of contempt of court and can be tried in absentia and convicted of that - and promptly thrown in jail where you will then rot until you comply with the subpoena - by force if necessary.

Of course, any tiresome for antiquated laws do not apply to our more than equal Jackass Party elite betters.
We The (smelly Walmart) People are to know our places and shut up and sit down just like we're supposed to.
I mean, who the heck do we think we are? Them? That would be racist.
And who among us little nothings could survive being called a racist by some lefty pinhead?
    Oh, the horror! The horror!

I may be wrong (sure wouldn't be the first time), but I always thought that once the subpoena "recipient" was identified by the process server, the subpoena was considered to have been served even if it was refused.

If I'm right, then she has been legally served and is now required by law to comply.
