Stocks end week at new highs as good GDP data offsets poor earnings

Overall economic growth beats Low earning almost every time. Economy raises everybody earnigs the individual company.

    The text of the article, contrary to the title, says GDP growth and earnings are both up, except for notable disappointments from Intel, Exxon, and American Airlines. I'd like to know how aggregate earnings for S&P are up. My guess is it would be close to GDP growth.

    This is consistent with my observations in my corner of the economy. The economy is very strong.
