I see property tax hikes, increased sales taxes, and bonds on the ballots, in the near future... 'for the poor (illegal) children who NEED to be educated' at our expense. Heart string taxes.

    I don’t get it. If I did to my kid what the parents have done to their kids in the manner of transporting them here, the government would take my kids away and ask questions later. We treat hispanics like they are ‘pets’ who don’t know any better. It’s sooo screwed-up.

    Many people do skip the telethon and roll up their sleeves and work the problem. There are some people at my UU congregation who do that, and I really admire it. We need people to figure out the politics, but we also need people to jump in and start fixing things.
