    I honestly think he respected the little guys doing the work building his empire more than the fat cat socialist elites he had to mingle with to earn his wealth. Although he is not a drinker I bet he would have a better time down at the local pub with the folks than he ever did in a Tux.

    I suppose that we, on the outside, will never really know all his motivations. If some of them were to get even with the establishment- more power to him.

    It would seem to me that he had already overpowered them by becoming a billionaire and real estate mogul though.

    He fights the establishment, but I think he also is slowing down the march to socialism. Not stopping it, but slowing it down. He is also infuriating the establishment every day by standing in the way of the swamp.

    Did he use swamp tactics to get himself rich- yeah I would agree with that. Now that he IS rich, maybe he wants to close the door behind him. Or maybe at his age he actually thinks the swamp is really a bad thing no matter who uses it

    We disagree again! Trump did this to both prove he could and to get back at all those fat cats who stood in his way and caused him so much trouble with bankruptcies and massive losses. He lived in that cesspool and knows his way around better than most. I love what ever he does that gets them in a panic!

    Both the parties seem to want government power and increased sources of money. That said, I think we have a rare chance to actually slow this process with Trump. Thats why I voted for him and will vote repub in the mid terms. A brief respite from the annoying march to collectivism is appreciated.

    Trump doesnt HAVE to do this. He already made more money than he can spend, and proved himself in his business and has a great family.

    Maybe he just wanted a shot to stand in the way of at least SOME of the stupid policies of socialists

    I highly doubt this T2. More likely they "Will make something FOR themselves" which would be our money. More often than not the only reason I even bother to vote is simply to cancel out some D supporters vote. In 2016 voting for DJT was one of the rare times I have ever wanted to vote for a Republican but I always do vote R across the line just to help keep Ds away from any government positions.

    Luckily ours didn't come at once...a week or so back we got 4" from one storm. Today, remnants of the hurricane only gave us 2". (my veggie gardens are now rotting and only 6 tomato plants are producing...the squash is done and the string beans have been chewed down to the ground by elmer's favorite animal to hunt..

    I noticed something I never noticed before, (you might want to pay attention yourself) Having had a lack of real thunder storms up until a few weeks ago. I went outside on our entry porch and just basked in the thunder (it never seemed to stop that day)...I physically felt better after that storm, (not that I felt bad before- just even better afterward).
    Ok, that's how the shuman resonance is generated and it's said that it is beneficial...but I never noticed my physical condition afterward.

    Did it again a few days ago and again this morning when the storm came in...as observant as one can be, I do think it made me feel good.

    After Two very dry weeks the clouds opened up as a cold front is coming thru. At around 3am it was wild wind thunder hail and rain, endings with about three inches of rain
    In the eighties we had a couple of 8- 10 inch rain events. No problamo at this residence.
