Remember this when people say there is no "Deep State" or ask for examples of same. The Federal Government is infected and needs a good dose of antibiotics.

    maybe the problem is the legislation that allows them to "pry" without my permission.

    If I am learning one thing in this electronic age is that once you release information, its OUT there and you lose the ability to protect it. Dont give out what you dont want on the pages of the NY Times

    If the government, by virtue of legislation, is allowed to pry into your life, it is then their responsibility to protect that information which would otherwise be kept private and confidential. I don’t understand how it could be viewed otherwise.

    And a good antibiotic very well could be from the Constitution Article V Call a Convention of the States and pass relevant amendments to rein in the abuses from the Federal Empire

    My opinion is that there should be no prohibition from "leaking" truths. We citizens need to know such things, and should applaud the leakers like Snowden and Wikileaks.

    As to leaking "untruths", that is not right. If you want to leak, make sure your information is correct.

    I suspected that if a loud and angry Democrat activist shot the president, even that wouldn’t get much main stream media coverage, until they figured out how to blame the Republicans, or capitalism.
    Of course, they may already have this all preplanned, in which case they will constantly blast their blame story everywhere.

    A great example of the danger of hierarchies. Most are never accountable for the damage they do. Its what Nassim Taleb calls asymmetry. This is that rare example when someone is being held accountable, we'll see. And what hierarchy could be more dangerous than the deep state.
