Government regulations and unintended consequences

When the government sets a standard it becomes almost instantly the ‘minimum’ or the ‘maximum’ depending on which hurts consumers most. If the FAA or any government agency says seat pitch must be at least (you pick a number) that will become the defacto standard as quickly as the airlines can make the changes.

    When there was a free-er market, airlines hired hot babes as flight attendants.
