Another win for Second Amendment Supporters?

Amazing that a liberal Appeals Court took this position. I have to believe the present SCOTUS would support the Appeals decision if Hawaii pursues it. Hawaii may be wise, and perhaps persuaded, not to pursue the case. which could generate another SCOTUS ruling like Heller vs DC broadening firearms rights back to the original intent of the Second Amendment.

That would make me laugh, and force a new definition of "correct" from the lefty! Watch her twist and turn.

Of course a rifle is not a good self-protection weapon, but she probably got it cheap.

A friend was telling me a story about a devoted Liberal who she knew. This leftest lived alone on a hill top where she grew her vegetables organically, was a vegan, and supported every leftest cause there was. I got the picture of an old hippy with a pigtail down her back eating porridge out of earthenware bowls. Anyway, my friend made an unannounced visit to this woman's small log cabin, and when she walked in, there was rifle in the corner. When asked why she had a gun when she was so opposed to firearms, the leftest, visibly flustered said, "Well, I have to protect myself."

In law, an en banc session (French for "in bench") is a session in which a case is heard before all the judges of a court (before the entire bench) rather than by a panel of judges selected from them. ... En banc review is often used for unusually complex cases or cases considered to be of greater importance.

Yahoo! I hope Young wins. And by the way, I have studied French. What does en banc mean legally? (Translates literally as "in bank", but what does that mean in the law?)

Yeah. These never seem to make it to SCOTUS, I believe, because the states know their legislation is unconstitutional, and don't want a precedent wiping much of it out.

Now it remains to see if the entire Ninth Circuit sits to rehear the case (and likely overturn the panel decision) or if they will decline. If they do decline, it is unlikely that the Supreme Court will take up the case.

    I also hprw Hawaii doesn
t cary this further but if they do SCOTUS is most likey to uphold or even increase the Appeals court ruling. The left would go nuts over that.

Entitled people with bodyguards questioning why people want guns are the biggest hypocrisy going.
