SF in the northern state is a guaranteed loser.

Interesting! If it happens, it reminds me of an episode of Star Trek The Next Generation, where they come across a derelict spaceship from Earth with an American flag on the side, and Data notes that there are 52 stars, "positively identifying it as coming from the old United States of America, circa 2033-2079 " (or words to that effect). Prophetic? I don't think the script writers had in mind that one of the 50 states would split into 3, but probably that Puerto Rico and one other might be added by then, but I guess we'll see...

A remarkable talent. He was a little on the wierd side but his ability to communicate cannot be denied.

Indeed, his vision of a state where they had to run lotteries every day, as well as elections almost weekly seems incredibly astute.

Go read Heinleins "Friday" if you want to see how he saw Kalifornia and that was back in the uh, 70's? Yet he was right on target with it.

My proposal is to split California into 50 different states and have them all start electioneering on the first day after election. That way you'll have the spectacle of watching politicians fight with each other in a vast variety of ways. There could be a California channel broadcasting the most interesting, most vituperative, bloody fights that devolve into actual physical fights. Only firearms would be banned. Other weapons allowed, knives, bats, spikes, whips, bludgeons, and poison if you can get it down their throats. Fun? Yes!!!

Agreed, but the latinos are having more babies than the conservative whites, and latinos more consistently vote Dem.
Have a link on Pressman's idea? (I didn't find it with duckduckgo.)

I can see the need to put SF in Northern as it is a big Republican area. About the only places that were liberal progressive were the coastal cities from SF down to LA. I'm not a religious man, but I pray it passes!

Yes, if the San Diego part consistently went Democratic. It might not.

Personally, I like Paul Pressman's idea of "New California" better. He wants to divorce the rural counties of the State from the socialist population centers of Los Angeles and San Francisco.

They'd get an extra 4 electoral votes and 4 extra US senate votes. A recipe for more federal socialist serfdom.

The progressive, leftist establishment relies heavily on there being one big California. Therefore, it won't be allowed to be split up. And, in California the courts run the show. In many, many cases they are teamed with special interests (never conservative) and propositions get shut down right after they get passed. This is one of the main reasons I don't vote. It's a fraud.

Which is why I hope the current proposal bites the dust. You're right. Three States, with Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego to dominate them?

Well, the Leftists have been EXCELLENT with their marketing. I have older liberal friends who NEVER KNEW that people are being asked to use Preferred Pronouns... That Michigan State RAs introduce themselves on video, indicating their preferred pronouns.

They were shocked. These are liberal democrats. The gift of "Yes we can" is that it means different thing to different people.
Now, these liberals are looters, and believe in taking from others to redistribute to the needed. Don't get me wrong.

But they are NOT TARGETED nor are they receiving the TRANSGENDER advertising message. The left has ALL the marketing geniuses working for them. these people have heard of the "Bathroom" issue. But not the deeper stuff...

The ENTIRE thing on Code Words and Dog Whistles is BECAUSE the LEFT wraps things like this, so that ONCE an older LIberal hears the coded wording... They stop listening to the details, and just agree with the position. It would imposition someone who had a sex change to use the wrong bathroom. EVEN WHEN THAT is not the story.

They play to the LIE that they CARE THE MOST for others.
    ==

For me, now I realize the difference, and what causes Dave Rubin and others to wake up. When they start seeing ALL of the messages, and digging into the details, they realize it is a mosaic of lies/deceit... Same people believe the 97% of women make less money for the exact same work... (that message fits their beliefs)...

I now reduce my attempts to convert them to just equalizing the message. Like:
    - Would it be fair to ask a Muslim Bakery to write Mohammed was Pedophile on a cake?
    - Or to ask them to put a picture of Mohammed on the cake?
    - AND SUE THEM for saying no?
    - How is that more caring to demand, not service, but a CUSTOM CAKE.

See, many of these people believe that the Baker refused to sell them a CAKE off the shelf.
They did NOT read the details that this was about creating an artistic expression.

And the LEFT goes a long way to make sure they never hear those words.

Let that sink in... And pay attention to it. It will amaze you how the programming works.

Also, Watch someone like Obama, Bill Clinton, or Trump when they speak... But turn off the volume.
No Subtitles. Watch them as people. You will instantly notice who is PRACTICED and ACTING vs who is REAL.

Is this vote regionally split up into the wannabe states? Don't think so.
Me dino does think that the daft lib majority who elected Moonbeam will oppressively delight in denying any uppity minority the self-rule of a split state.

The state of Jefferson (which was a coastal state) is not part of the current proposal. (It was in the previous 6 state proposal that failed to get support.) San Francisco Bay Area liberals would dominate the current proposed state of Northern CA. "Northern California, which would encompass everything from Santa Cruz north, including the Bay Area and Sacramento."
You're right, Temlakos, it probably could have been a valid option for the Gulch, but I'm sure the liberals fought it because it could have demonstrated the advantages of liberty and free markets.

Don't your friends know that communism is the goal of liberalism (in the USA)? I've known that since McGovern in 1972.

Easier yet, add "Alta" to the name as a prefix, then give it to Mexico, and wall off both.
