One wonders when did NOAA get the power to regulate in space, and also what about SpaceX's freedom of speech guarantees, did the government just muzzle them?

Skepticism is very healthy, nick, and regarding anything connected to government or the media conspiracies have been repeatedly demonstrated as true.

Actually, I figured it out, they are showing a trip with stuff for the space station, and the one that was cut off was a flight to launch 5 of the satellites for spaceX's new system of phones/internet signals. That was March 30th, the FB one was Monday, April 2. That was why there was such a discrepancy at the same point, now the questions is: why was a flight cut off at the same altitude as one 2 days later, that was seen all the way through? The supposed reason was the altitude and the license, so did they get their license?

Yep, the law no one knows existed, until a private firm violates it, yet there is a news feed above that supposedly shows they continued on, with no break, so how is that?

OK, call me suspicious, but look at this video at 1:45 and then compare it to the facebook video at 6:08, which is just after the "feed cut". The rocket, unless it warped into space, changed aspect to the earth, at the very point everyone claims the feed is cut, this thing jumps to almost a totally different video feed. The speeds are way off too, look at the speed and compare the 2, yet it was supposedly the same feed. Hmm...

The government or even the UN should not have any business in Space. I really dislike when I see this it's like the US Govt keeps it hands from controlling private businesses.

Perhaps as a very old guy, I suffer from a dementia linked to paranoia. I keep feeling as if the Gov. and others are telling me just enough to pique my curiosity but are holding back certain parts that change the complexity and meaning of what they choose to reveal. As our ability to reveal more and more of the universe through our improved instruments, every now and then, a little impossible thing leaks out and the scramble begins to give it every explanation except the true one.Anyone else get that feeling? Then, some science show that has low ratings, will show some unexplained something and leave us hanging with the feeling that, "dammit, there's more to this story that they're not telling us."

The problem with complaining about this is that it really does make the complainer seem like a raving conspiracy-theorist.

Then I read this on the NOAA site. What a fantastic rule to force domestic IP out of the country. It's actually quite mind blowing to realize that the government has taken so many steps to suppress the people's freedoms.

    {copied from NOAA website}
    Background
The National and Commercial Space Programs Act (NCSPA or Act), 51 U.S.C. ยง 60101, et seq as amended (the Act), provides no person who is subject to the jurisdiction or control of the U.S. may operate any private remote sensing space system without a license, and authorized the Secretary of Commerce to license private sector parties to operate private remote sensing space systems. By law, the Secretary can grant a license only upon determining, in writing that the applicant (licensee) will comply with the requirements of the Act, any regulations issued pursuant to the Act and any applicable international obligations and national security concerns of the United States.

Information on applying for a license can be found in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) at 15 CFR Part 960, specifically, Subpart B and Appendix 1.

Did they just not want that Skynet satellite deployment being spread all over the news? ;)

During the Falcon heavy launch and second stage
The video had part of the scene blacked out but still a launch of something was visible for an instant. That video soon was taken down and replaced with the released object removed from the scene. Maybe It was be a factor.

They are either worried about their nephlim brothers space craft being seen or...much more likely. they are worried about you seeing the north pole frozen over with millions of polar bears wondering around...maybe, getting even more ridiculous... fear you might see the "Giant Hole" at the north pole where the aliens fly in and out of...laughing my butt off...
Regardless...seems pretty stupid and suspicious to me.

I can believe anything at this point, the government has no credibility, I am also now digging through the Peruvian mummy thing from last year to see if they ever proved a fake (in which case they belong up with PT Barnum) or something else. But yes, maybe they signed exclusivity to one group or another. Reptilian or Grey? Who offered the best deal? :)

Or is there a fear that more UFO video will be broadcast as a result? Might violate the treaty with our allies from outside the solar system.

Well, the whole thing about this is shifting to the "Whats being hidden" model, since most people just cannot comprehend such a miserable excuse as "National Security" for looking at a rocket motor in space....

Another reason to take the business of launching into space out of the evil clutches of the US federal government.
What a great way to start the Gulch!
