Fraud: Wolff Admits He’s Not Sure His Own Book Is True

It's a short article, but this is the important part the lamestream leaves out.

Reading this causes me to wonder, if most of this is false or uncolaborated then why even write a book in the first place...unless of course, "it's Just Another Distraction".

Now, however, it looks like there could be much more to the story. Michael Wolff, the author of the title that set off the political fireworks, has admitted that he isn’t sure which parts of his own book are true — and that much of it may be exaggerated or blatantly false.

“Michael Wolff […] included a note at the start that casts significant doubt on the reliability of the specifics contained in the rest of its pages,” reported Business Insider reported. “Several of his sources, he says, were definitely lying to him, while some offered accounts that flatly contradicted those of others.”

Incredibly, the author of a book that is being treated as factual by much of the media admitted to “looseness with the truth,” and basically guessing about which accounts were accurate and which were invented out of thin air.

“Many of the accounts of what has happened in the Trump White House are in conflict with one another; many, in Trumpian fashion, are baldly untrue,” Wolff wrote in the book’s prologue.

This is the same info being reported by other news sources as well, even the Washington Post.
I read the authors notes on Amazons "Look Inside" and this last paragraph is there.

    R. J. Brown asserts that it actually originated with a banker named David Hannum, in regard to one of Barnum's hoaxes: a replica of the Cardiff Giant.

I believe P.T. Barnum (the famous circus manager) was credited with saying it when asked how he made so much money on circus acts.

Yet, a friend and mentor was put in jail for stating in his book that his diet was easy...and someone didn't...so the supreme court made him pay damages and put him in jail.
It too, was political because he went against the lamestream.

We've seen it all, before...Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth" was made into a movie, as well as a book.
Gore admits that much of his book is conjecture and theory, but the MSM continues to refer to it as a factual "reference".
With all the litigation that goes on, in this country, why aren't people getting the shirts sued right off their backs for writing this tripe?

As I told my best friend Rocky once "If only I lacked ethics I could make money looting the general populace, running for office making promises I never intended to keep and writing fiction to sell as fact because there is always someone who wants to believe all of these lies!"

I was just stupifing that he wrote, in essence, This is Bullshit, in the authors notes at the beginning of the book.
Kind of like the kid in school that admitted his story about to be told...was bullshit...and like dummies, we listened anyway...laughing!

Lucky for you, I wrote a lot about the stupidity and mentality of this nation and what they read and make decisions on. The lucky part for you, I deleted it all before posting. I seen no reporting on the book about anything to do with the economy, jobs, and other things that matter. That alone makes it trash. I'm not going to buy it, in fact, I'm not going to even read it.

Why is this Wolff "person" someone we/I have never heard of before. No info or speculation about this "author" being allowed special access at the white house and the president. The dems/liberals would have been completely unable to keep that secret.

    Who himself was disgraced!

I didn't vote for Trump. For all his bluster and appearances on "The Apprentice", Trump is still remarkably surrounded by sycophants (like Bannon). Obama certainly had those, but despite their corruptness they still were loyal and knew who buttered their bread. But the other consideration is the news media bias, which is open, unabashed, and entirely one-sided. They are the ones peddling this book and even referring to it as if it were authoritative (which is just laughable). On that, I have to agree with Trump that this is just more "fake news".

I think Wolff is in cahoots with the Trump Admin to try to take the media down. Look at how the pundits are chewing on his book and his "facts". They actually are saying stuff like the "the 'facts' are wrong, but the intent is true". That is the road to Hell for any credibility that is left in the legacy media. You may ask why I think it's a Trumpian scam... Watch this interview with Wolff from almost a year ago (it's only about 7 minutes long)...

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuwZr...

Does that look and sound like the same person who wrote the drivel entitled, "Fire and Fury"? And, who actually puts down on paper ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of Trump's friends, family and colleagues think he's a nut case? No, this has scam written all over it.

Then add in the fact that the book was dumped by Wikileaks as a .pdf for free on the internet. AND, Trump having his "Fake News Awards" moved from yesterday to the 17th (a day or two AFTER the supposed release of the OIG report)....I gotta think there's nothing legit being reported about this author, Steven Bannon, and this book.

Maybe I'm the crazy one. What do you think? :-)

What is amazing is that he admits that in the Authors Notes.
But it seems to be more about the "Hero" Bannon!

Shame on the author for writing it. Shame on anyone who buys it and pretends to pick out the truths. No morality whatsoever. If we are all lucky, this could put an end to the endless attacks on T.

The book is all about spin - nothing more, nothing less. But what should be noted is that much of what was actually included in the book was either hearsay or name-calling. There is almost zero actual evidence or real reporting going on here. And several of the key people Wolff claims to quote have openly denied they said anything like what Wolff claims.

This is a journalistic hit piece - nothing more, nothing less. It's garbage.

When one has done a good job, one doesnt need any approval from others. In fact if you get it, its almost beside the point, and more a reflection of the "approver" than of the person doing the job

Wolf hates trump and is simply doing what he can to add to the taking down of trump. He is also cashing in on the never trump movement of idiot liberals.
