Unfarging believable. The founding fathers apparently either had nothing to do with setting the very foundation of our country, or they were closet Muslims.

    Well, then, they must also set aside areas (and time!) for all students to pray. Those who do not wish to pray can read portions of Atlas Shrugged, or just converse.

    I think I did misunderstand your question. My apologies. Nonetheless I have that question still hanging in the air, tainting the very air that I breathe. I would know what the Muslim contribution to our country actually is. Do you or does anyone have an idea of this?

    One has only to look at the Constitution and Declaration of Independence (not to mention their very lives) to debunk that. Did they call it individualism? No. They called it common sense and individual rights. But one only has to look at the sacrifices made by them to know that they valued the individual's right to choose their own destiny and be responsible for those choices - the very heart and soul of individualism.

    Oh, I would classify it as a religion, just one that is completely intolerant of any other form of belief system but their own. If your definition of religion necessitates the inclusion of tolerance, then no, Islam does not qualify.

    MikeRael, I think you misunderstood what I said. I was being hypersarcastic. I was referring back to his campaign speech counting the days down to his fundamental transformation of America. He considers himself a re-founder of America. All those years prior to him no longer exist. Yes, he is that much of a narcissist.

    President Obama must be referring to slave labor contributions. Far less than half of all slaves were Muslim, but certainly some were.

    Forgetting now about individual muslims (though I sent an email to Obama today inquiring about the names of such), have any groups of Muslims contributed to America in a clear way? I think, offhand, of Chinese working on the railroads and I suspect the Chinese have contributed as businessmen (wasn't the founder of yahoo a Chinese?) and as scientists, though I don't know of any offhand. Have Muslims actually contributed to America in some definite way?

    But, though Obama may be a fine President, at least one who has gotten much done, he did not found our country. I'd like to know about previous moslems who, say, built our railroads like the Chinese did, or who fought against the British during the Revolutionary War or in the civil war on *either* side. That is, who were these Muslims and what precisely did they do?

    The idea that government or insurance would know one's genetic predisposition for disease may be the scariest thing about Obamacare.

    No thanks. I have no desire to know, and even less desire for any other entity (gov't or insurance) to know so that they can deny any legal responsibility to uphold their contractual obligation.

    Me, I'd rather take action to remedy the issue prior to ultimate outcome.
