The depth the Oministration will go to vent its disdain for the American people. With 83% of the fedgov still working its the TSA which is making up the laid off 17% - bullsh*t.
I thought the War on Terror was over? How come we're bringing troops home from the Iraqi theater and the Afghan theater, but not getting rid of the troops in the theater of the interior?* I always believed that the Orwellian named DHS and the TSA were temporary agencies?
*"theater of the interior" is a phrased I learned from my father. When he was to be discharged from the military at the end of WWII, he was in Germany, and had convinced his CO to send him home. When he got his travel orders, they said "the theater of the interior"... In a panic, he went to his CO and begged the CO not to send him there. He thought "theater of the interior" meant the Pacific... fortunately he had a rational CO who explained it to him that "theater of the interior" was what scumbag leftist propagandists call the "homeland", today... America.
Note something interesting in that article (unrelated to the story)...
In the first time it's used, they properly say "spokesman"... but from then on they politically correctly say the cumbersome "spokesperson". Almost as if two different people wrote the article. There are other signs of editorial gaffes in the article.
I don't much appreciate the TSA and think its unnecessary, but if there are going to be cuts to federal workers you'd think a concerned, caring American government would choose those things (they perceive) that are crucial to the safety of the American people as the last things to cut. No, this is deliberate and a willful act of spite.
IF the citizens were allowed to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights, 9/11 probably would have been prevented. Maybe not even attempted.
But, no, in typical doublethink, we pretend that "infringed" doesn't apply to commercial aircraft.
