    Ah, behavior modification to achieve attitude adjustment, how quaint. Our rulers sense the natives getting more restless, belligerent, resistant and hostile. It would be better to have the minions of bureaucracy say "please" and "thank you" to us. Let's not forget that they are OUR servants. Their salaries come out of our wallets.

    "Please surrender your wealth you earned to us or we shall terrorize you and put you in jail."

    Totally okay to be grumpy at weddings. (Haven't the frogs always been rude? Why try and change it now? And demanding niceness seems counterproductive...an expletive would fly out of my mouth the instant someone told me to be polite.)
