Hello to all. I never knew this many people were interested in the Atlas Shrugged movies as I am. I discovered these hidden gems quite by accident. I am a netflix subscriber, and everytime I would scroll for movies, I would come across these intriguing Atlas Shrugged titles. One night I finally started to watch one, and was completely drawn in. I quickly found Part II and watched that one. I then searched for a possible Part III, and to my horror could not find one...but then I found Galt's Gulch, and all is good again. I thought these were fantastic movies, with extremely relevant messages. I had no idea movies in a sociological context could be so interesting. I'm hooked.

    Greetings nhojtalg,
You are fortunate. Many here have been waiting for a movie for decades and now the final part is only a short time away! Like the other commentators, I suggest investigating the many books. If you have enjoyed the movies thus far you will likely find them enjoyable also.
    Respectfully,
    O.A.

Welcome to the gulch. I highly recommend reading the book Atlas Shrugged, but for a start, find a copy of Ayn Rand's " Philosophy, who needs it". You will never look at the world the same way again. Whether you are watching the movie Hunger Games or reading the news about Russian special forces shooting down MH 017, you will be asking yourself, what do I know, and how do I know it, followed by What do I feel, and why do I feel it.
    Cheers and Semper Fidelis

Thanks Bobhummel. I have taken several sociology classes per my curriculum, but have never heard of Ayn Rand, and not even a casual mention of him by the course instructors! Do you think Ayn Rand was way ahead of the curve with his writings? It's to bad it took a couple of movies to find out about him.

I would add, that is the reason for making the movies. To reach a greater number of people, particularly younger people, and expose them to not only this epic story but to a totally logical view of the world and man's role in it.
        Cheers
