If you are interested in economics, and I know not everyone is, this article merits close reading. Hoisington reaches well-supported conclusions about savings, debt, and economic performance. He has had one of the top performing bond funds for many years simply by staying long the long end of the Treasury curve, and he thinks interest rates are going still lower, which puts him contrary to the consensus.
