Am I understanding this right, that the million muslimer's get the permit to march and the American bikers are turned down, on September 11th, the 12th Anniversary of innocent US citizens who were murdered by muslim terrorists. I personally know at least 50 bikers heading down... They are true American's who believe in freedom and are willing to show it publicly. They are appalled at the slap in the face to ALL Americans by this disgraceful march on this tragic Anniversary.. I am also..

  I don't believe that number. I think it's just WTOP's attempt to calm the Left. However, WTOP's traffic reports were always accurate and dependable. :) Not that I wouldn't know that.

        That's one I never would have guessed. Almost every radio and tv station out here begins with a K.

        If the radio station is West of the Mississippi, they begin with K. If the radio station is East of the Mississippi, they begin with W. I'm talking FM stations of course.

      You think that would work for churches and synagogues, too? Probably not... Old Castro, though, when he was consolidating power, they held baseball games outside of churches to compete with the mass. Incentives work better.

Somehow, both cops and "reporters", who are usually taught how to estimate the size of a crowd, consistently lose that skill when counting certain types of crowds.

  The National Park Police count the crowds for the National Mall. Every Memorial Weekend there is the Rolling Thunder motorcycle ride which brings in couple- hundred thousand bikers most years. During the dedication of the WW2 Memorial, there were 500 thousand bikers in town that Memorial day weekend. Usually the tallies for biker is accurate because the bikers register for the rides and get permits.They ride together and go to the Pentagon as a reminder of the MIA. That pic doesn’t look like any area in downtown Washington, so maybe it is an old Pentagon pic. A crowd of bodies covering the ground between the Lincoln Memorial and the National Monument estimates around 250,000. There are always ways to guess at the number because this is a town where people gather. Anybody who has spent any time working or living in DC can estimate crowds fairly well. Just saying. I’m going with WTOP on this one.

    It amazes me how patriotic bikers are...they buy American, and live like the last remaining cowboys.
    
    I hope that they get the turnout that they expect, and that no one gets pulled into any confrontations. It wouldn't surprise me if there was an effort to incite them, and make the bikers the news as the 'enemy'.
    
    I'll counteract your 'ding', although you should be showing more!

      I agree with your first comment. With the number of bikes & Patriots there, I wouldn't be surprised if it is the muslims who are acting like dhymmies and not confrontational, like they would prefer to be.
