Tax hike appears inevitable in Kansas after schools ruling

I would say this is just the tip of the iceberg. What a lot of the news leaves out is most state budgets exist for retirement programs that offer benefits equal to their normal salaries, or more, yet were never funded to support such promises. Oregon has 40% of it's budget goe to schools, with the lotters in Salem wanting more, and a 16Billion deficit in their Pers account, and are wildly throwing all kinds of crazy taxes and fees just to make up a small prtion of it, disguising it in the infamous line "for the children". The looters just never seem to loot enough, and just can't stop giving anything and everything away. Universal bankruptcy is just around the corner...

    Yep, and it is not limited to any one, or group of states, it goes from local to Federal. The system is broke.

    Modern government never lowers costs when it can increase revenues at gun point. Until the citizens take back those guns from government, this will continue.
