Solar Roadways Are BULLSHIT!

A Youtube vlog challenging the Solar Roadways project, which raised 2.1 million dollars on Indigogo, as well as another million from U.S. taxpayers.

I know we have some engineers on here, so I'm wondering...

Could electricity be generated using thermocouples under the roadway (I think that's what they're called), turning the friction heat of vehicles passing into electricity...
or simply using the pressure of the vehicles passing to generate electricity (pressure increase/decrease)?
I'm not talking about powering a neighborhood, but maybe enough to power highway lights and traffic lights.

I'm not suggesting it, I'm just curious if it's possible, and then practical.

I also asked a question about impact resistance on their Facebook page and they said they went back to their engineers and they said they dropped a ball from the second story and it did not break. Well anyone that knows anything about impact resistance knows that a real test gives a weight resistance like pounds per square inch.
