A relevent "talk" from the Institute (one of the best I have heard in quite some time) which helps to define the nature of cronyism and the starting point for solutions.

I agree with his problem definition: gov't has its hands in so many things that it encourages bribery. In such an environment he says people want less "rigging" but if there's going to be some "rigging" they want to keep the parts that work in their favor.

He then says the solution is to get rid of credits and subsidies. That's true, but how to execute that is the issue.

The ad said ARI offers Ayn Rand books for free. This sounds like a great idea. Amazingly, some people here are against that because it could be misconstrued as alms..
