Sorry folks...you either have to vote for Trump or never see a conservative president in your lifetime. Hillary will fill the courts will liberal like-thinkers, who will approve amnesty for 10s of millions illegal aliens. A very, very large majority of these illegal aliens will be Democratic voters. GAME OVER FOR AMERICA AS WE KNOW IT.

I didn't know that the Gulch was a conservative forum. I also didn't know that Trump was a conservative. Likewise, I wasn't aware that voting for Trump and never seeing a conservative president in my lifetime were mutually exclusive outcomes. I also didn't know that a Republican Senate would rubber-stamp left-wing judges, or that illegal aliens could vote, or that America As We Know It is likely to survive under Hillary or Trump. Thanks for the update.

If Clinton wins, the Democratic Senate candidates have a better chance of winning. A Democrat-dominated Senate will unquestionably rubber stamp any judicial candidate Hillary nominates, which will most likely lead to the growth of government autocratic power. It's more the risk to individual liberty than a question of conservative or liberal viewpoint.

The Senate's 60-vote cloture rule pretty much guarantees that Clinton will have to deal with the Republicans to get any of her judicial nominees approved.

Given the establishment Republican senators tendency to cave under a modest amount of pressure from the media, I seriously doubt that the cloture rule will be invoked once the media start screaming that the Republicans are out to destroy the judiciary. It's likely that two or more judges on the Supreme Court will pass on or retire during a Hillary presidency, and I'm skeptical that the Republicans will hold out once the number of justices drop to five or six.

The media is in the process of losing much of its credibility and influence among mainstream voters, thanks to its increasingly obvious bias. I think they'll be less of a factor to contend with, going forward.

It isn't. It's a objectivist site. We know no boundaries. As for the rest conservative and liberal are probably two of the most over used over re defined and useless words in the language as regards politics. They have no meaning worth bothering about .

The reason for Republicans be judged that way is they are left wing using the true center which is not the center of the left but in a Constitutional Republic is the Constitution at best they are the right wing OF the left. which nicely explains their nasty habit of caving.

Center therefore is for those who are Constitutionalists
Left is for Sociaists in varying degrees

Right is presently except for Anarchist way out there on the fringe of the right an area currently not in use but should be as it is the home of political power.

Divine RIGHT of Kings emananated from that and was graphically used by the French assemblies sitting the Kings representatives to the right.

Since we have no KING the definition from history of the citizens being the well spring of power and authority over government should be there or in the Center witih their Constitution instead of lap dogs of the left. Makes more sense than the current BS version and nicely configures and explains just about everything.

But conservative only useful meaning is those in power set in their ways want to keep it that way and take make changes slowly if at all. Sounds like Democrat/Republican Government over Citizens Coalition to me.

Liberals are those on the outside wanting immediate change now regardless of legality sometimes and are out of power. Well that's the citizens at this point. The rest is propaganda reframing, redefinition and media garbage.

Subjectivism stands alone as a non-collective group with simiilar interests and a similar philosophy but without losiing independent thinking and reasoning abiltities.

What you have is a flock of premises which are suspect from the get go. Treat them as such. Things get real clear very fast and that is the real treat!

Well, compared to Hillary, Trump is certainly more conservative, and from that perspective, the best choice we have. Relative to the future of a Republican/conservative president after a Hillary election...the odds are much greater against that possibility with Hillary pulling the strings from the oval office. You are assuming that you are always going to have a Republican Senate. Perhaps, but what has a Republican Senate really achieved over these past 6 years, and who knows if even a few (that's all it will take) will capitulate on a justice vote...for fear of being branded as a gridlocker and losing their re-election effort. 10 - 20 million additional Democratic voters...figure that math out yourself. I can tell from you response that you don't think that this election is critical to our future. Get back to me in two years after Hillary is elected. AND GOOD LUCK.

The Senate has a 60-vote cloture rule ( http://thehill.com/blogs/congress-blo... ) that can be invoked to block approval of left-wing judges, even if the Republicans lose a bunch of Senate seats. Illegal aliens can’t vote. Trump is “the best choice we have” only if you confine that choice to two candidates (and we’ve seen how well that has worked in the past). Conservatism and Objectivism are not the same thing, so a candidate being “more conservative than Hillary” is not necessarily a reason to vote for that candidate. Every election is “critical to our future,” but every election brings warnings that “if we don’t win this one, we’re sunk for good.” I’ve been hearing that refrain ever since my first chance to vote (in 1964), when I was told that Goldwater was “our last hope.” Lyndon Johnson won in a landslide that year, yet somehow we survived.

You cannot compare 1964 with today. In fact, what happened in 1964 planted the seeds for the problems we have today. Johnson's Great Society program made being on welfare very easy, and having children out of wedlock profitable. Now, here is the real difference between 1964 and today...we have a very large (and growing) welfare class who will mostly vote for their growing dole. Think about it.

We also have a very large (and growing) backlash against the welfare class, which is partly the reason that Trump is the Republican nominee. Hillary will face a huge amount of opposition even if she is elected, and will likely face an uphill battle to implement much of her program.

Not sure what you mean. Obama was barely able to squeak Obamacare through a lame-duck congress, is going nowhere with his Supreme Court nominee, and has most of the rest of his proposals mired in gridlock. Hillary's approval rating is much lower than Obama's, so more opposition would be expected if she somehow manages to get elected, which is by no means a sure thing.

Correct August of 1935 and it's orignal purpose was to ensure life for the destitute people who had lost everything in the depression years including any chance of a retirement income. It's now ensures looting privileges for near half the nation. Actiually it's 65,636,000 according to the SSA or 19% of the nation and that does not count

Welfare about one fifth of the population around 55-60 million. Those numbers often overlap with the first group. But my money says at least 25% draws one or more forms of welfare. Some would be destitute without it. Some of us would be living low on the hog if not moving in with the chickens.

What happened to those mostly elderly destitute people? They went to county or state poor houses. for shelter and sustenance.

But after that the system like topsy with a pinnochio nose grew and grew and grew

Do you think that for a retiree today accepting social secutrity payments is welfare? My view is that from the baby boomers forward, retirees will not receive as much as they were forced to pay in FICA taxes (after accounting for a small return on funds stolen.). The so called greatest generation on the other hand sold out to the state and were paid ten times what they were forced to pay in FICA taxes. They became the biggest block of socialist voters for the Democrats as they retired. (I am not including medicare in this since it is a separate program.)

Right now we are witnessing what happens when Congress allows a President to act as an authoritarian, ruling by executive order. The solution is simple: if the House refuses to fund the budget the President wants, they can stop Executive overreach. Unfortunately, as soon as the media bleats about "shutting down the government," the Republicans cave, giving the Democrat President what he wants. You don't think it won't work the same with Hillary?

Will the Republicans in the Senate invoke the cloture rule with the media beating them up about "destroying the SCOTUS" as more elderly justices retire or pass on? I doubt it, as their establishment fears the media more than they do the people.

Hillary wants to increase the numbers of immigrants, and move toward amnesty and citizenship for illegals. The President controls the Border Patrol, so expect Hillary to continue the policy of "catch and release" with border crossers. Are you ready for the growth of Sharia law communities? How about the establishment of a trilingual society, with Spanish and Arabic speech and labels given the same priority as English?

Even if Hillary wins, I think the Republican establishment will fear the Trump voters within the party's ranks more than they will fear the media. Thanks to its overt bias in this election cycle, the mainstream media is already being publicly discredited and losing much of its influence, and not just among Trump supporters.

The republican party tools let this go on too long to make a corrective course when they had a chance because their extreme ignorance said "Trump" has no chance to make it. BUT, I do not agree with the un proven statement that Trump is an irresponsible bully... Does one want more PC Sob Sisters dominating SCOTUS law orders?? more $130,000 fines for cake bakers for not bowing to the "different preference Community"? Get real. Politics, especially after the last 8 years of treachery is not a game for white suited lawn tennis fans. We don't have much time to define our future,. Left is Governmen over citizens repos and demos

Center in a Consitutional Republic is the Constitution

The right historically represents the source of power and formerly was the divine right of kings. is currently unoccupied but should be occupied by the citizens over government segment the current source of power IF they would use it. Ergo Sum unoccupied.

I agree totally. Trump is, in my opinion, the LAST candidate to stand up to the establishment. No one else would have the constitution to stand up to the crooked establishment. I certainly wouldnt. I would have told the establishment to go to hell. Not worth all the hassle.
But Trump has done it, and I have to give him credit for that. He has my vote.

I think, in summation, I would say, "don't vote, or vote for a 3rd party candidate at the peril of your freedom and ability to earn a living." However, if you do chose to either not vote or vote 3rd party, you have no right to complain when what I project comes to fruition.

Not really we have a very large chunk of people who are voting for none of the above by not voting. In Political Science terms it's called the undervote and reflects the level of non participation or refusal of the existing choice or lack of confidence or sometimes just sheer laziness. In the not voting percentages it's found in 'didn't agree with issues or candidates' or 'in other' or both. Sheesh don't they teach civics anymore? Of course not to busy graduating sheep.

In what country do you think you live in? When has a choice to vote for whomever you decide upon or not to have voted given you the unmitigated gall ( didn't want to use some really politically incorrect words there) to tell any US citizen that he has no right to complain. He has complained to start with by either not voting or voting for someone whom you decided was not to be voted for? I am tired of that non-American belief of yours.

"Don't complain" is idiomatic phrase, but your knew that. You have a right to complain, but you know that it is baseless if you don't vote. You not only have the right to vote. You have the obligation. You are probably one of those people who chose not to vote in 2012...which gave us all another 4 years of Obama.

The people who gave us all another 4 years of Obama are the people who voted for Obama. Everyone else has every right to complain, including those who declined to vote for Romney. And we don't have some unchosen "obligation" to vote at all. Obligation to whom?

The use of "don't complain" in an idiomatic manner is not to be taken literally but as more like an emphasis. It is an exclamation point in the form of words. It is akin to saying "Oh, stop" "You can't be serious." In both examples the person using those phrases doesn't want a person to stop and knows the person is serious.

So, I have two choice, totally back out and give the keys of the government to Hillary and her kind, or vote for Trump and hope for the best (knowing his worst will be better than her best).

There is no such thing as conservatives. Just a polyglot stew of spur of the moment need of of the minute media terminology for their latest target. Same for liberal at least it's focused and used as an alternative to secular progressive and socialists.

There is no such thing as the Republican Party unless you are referring to the right wing of the left wings Government Party a creature of their establishment masters.

If they ever existed they should have been Constitutional Republic Party. but it's a dandy name and quite unused.

What I was saying...and I will make it clearer...was that if a better percentage of registered Republicans had voted in 2012, Romney would have won. This was particularly true in Ohio. Many Republicans did not vote because Romney was not conservative for them. So, they did not vote, and we got another 4 years of Obama. Correspondingly, I can already see that a large number of Republicans are not going to vote this November because Trump is not the perfect conservative in their eyes. And they will, in effect, hand the election over to Hillary Clinton.

No doubt. I, personally, am very conservative in a number of political issues. But I also think gay marriage is okay (frankly, I don't care), and I am not sure what gives the government the right to tell me what I can ingest...so, on those issues you will have to call me a liberal. More than anything, I am a Libertarian.

Finally some sense to it. So want to field another soft ball? I'm doing Larry King imitation today. Using the Constitution as the Center. Where would place the various political groups and in what order using one simple definition?

                      Left is Government over Citizens
                      Center Is the Constitution
                      Right is Citizens over Government

Where would you look to find the location of a Libertarian?

Not what you are used to hearing. I don't care I don't use definitions that are bogus. I use one's that work .

Think about it ia while then find a definiton that works for you

Where would you look to find the reason Republicans always cave.

Add in Conservative and Liberal if you wish.

That's objectivism. My definition may not be your definititon. But neither of us has to use a useless definition

Libertarians at one time believed that they were not on the left / right axis but perpendicular to it wanting liberty in both mind and body. But that is not what conservatives want from the religiously moral stand point and not what the liberals want due to their fear of a freed up capitalism.
To both sides libertarians look dangerous.

May come as a shock but all conservatives are NOT religious and all liberals are NOT socialists. One reason those two terms are seriously flawed is their applied willy nilly without thought nor reason til there as useful as 'you know.

But tht's the first time except for myself I've heard of the left right and vertical axis being used which is a useful tool.

To wit: Arrange the political spectrume from anarchist at the extreme right to Nazi/Communists at the extreme left and since it's a Constitutional Republic the Constitution in the center. The vertical starts at the top using the old divine right and descending King, Nobles, County trades people, peasants etc as one example or modern terms Natural rights Citizens, family local community government other. If its sliding sticks o in both directions put the vertical where you think it would go politically on the horizontal bar. then slide the vertical pole up or down putting your choice in both directions over one spot.

Being objectivists we make our own and keep it centered on reality. Mine hsas Government/ruling class just to the right of Secular Progressives. When constructing the horizontal Republicans for me are never to the right of center and always to the left of Constitution although...

If they kept one toe in that area it would be all right.

Ideally each system or group can wander at will as long as they keep one foot in the Constitutional Center and NOT as the media does in the Center of the left. What does it look like ...google up political spectrum as another poster suggested and look for one of the examples marked True there are two or three similar. They will have Anarchists at the far right Both Communists and Nazis to the far left. The others are the left's version and not useful.

If you have not Googled political spectrum and gone to the images, it is a large area to investigate. I see the old World's Smallest Political Quiz has been made much more involved than when I took it decades ago, probably in Reason magazine.

An equally valid argument: A large number of Democrats (i.e., Bernie Sanders supporters) are not going to vote this November (or will vote third party) because Hillary is not the perfect "progressive" in their eyes. And they will, in effect, hand the election over to Donald Trump.

I so wished that was true, but right now the polling numbers do not indicate that is the situation. I do believe that the reoccurring scandals surrounding Clinton might just turn them off enough so that they stay home...just maybe!

Klein vote for the most part. They don't mind at all if socialist fascism wins but seek to boost their green agenda in the public eye. if Klein does get a single delegate to the electoral college will she stand fast, trade it for Secretary of the Interior in competition with Johnson or just give it away. It's close enough that one electoral could make a difference. Johnson might get two or three. Depends on this winner take all business and the three states that don't use that system. But for sure it's ALL about electoral delegates the only one's that count. and pluralities don't win spit.

Again, the rest of the developed world is reconsidering and America is not paying attention.

That was the MSNBC interview in the Now section probably But it's not a tax it IS a fee and it has a resale value. so "any company can regain it's costs on the unused portion." As I recall. Like Gores Coal mines stocks or did he dump them yet like the cigarette stocks.

Wait...we haven't seen the "Methane" tax yet.

Check out. Canadian border security. Series on Netflix. People get after trump for his border strengthening comments. Canada is already doing it and worse. A conviction of almost anything will get you a denial of entry to Canada to even visit. DUI gets you a 5 year ban. Felony conviction gets 5-10 year ban. Not declaring items you are bringing in can get you a big fine, deportation, and an exclusion order for at least a year. If the border guard "suspects" you want to work in Canada without a permit, deportation and exclusion from entering Canada for 1-2 years will result. Makes me not want to even visit such a place, but keeps them safer from terrorism I suspect

True but one is a proven political liar and bully with no record of anything else . The other one is a street fighter learning how to live in a Madison Square Garden setting.

Did you catch the post on Donna Brazel accidentally maybe on purpose of outing Hillary's Foundation as being dirty?

"Irresponsible bully." Failure to be responsible--to whom? Who judges "responsibility" here? As like as not, the same people who recommend Hillary. I hardly think we need take their advice.

I prefer a bully to a liar. And not only a liar, one who sells government policy to the highest bidder. Whether for her own personal profit, or the profit of those she believes deserve it.

I have mixed emotions about trump the man. He has accomplished much in his life, from his profession to his family he has done more than the average person. Much more. He is, however, what we ancients would a show-off. He likes the spotlight and uses it well. His stream of consciousness rants are hard to overcome. He won the nomination fair and square which is certainly more than you can say about his opponent. And, FFA, you know that a Hillary administration will be a disaster of epic proportions. Calling Trump irresponsible and a bully is over the top. I think he may be decisive and that doesn't make him a bully. His mouth often works without consulting his brain, sometimes. But of the other suiters for the nomination, he is nowhere near the bottom of the pack.

Trump's actions and his unsupported insulting statements have proven him to be a bully. Trying to use government to force a property owner to sell property against their free will for his personal gain proves Trump is a bully. He insults people he does not know and has little knowledge of (usually after saying "I love so and so. He's a great guy.")
Could Trump's alleged talents be useful to America? Possibly, but as a consultant, not as the most powerful person in the world. That title and the unequaled power is the reason Trump is running for president.
Based on his actions, imo, Trump thinks he should be the only choice, and, if elected, he will do everything he can to make certain that Americans have no other choice. He will not be a benevolent dictator, but a vengeful one. The flaws in Trump's character evidenced by his past actions and political affiliations are more than enough to disqualify him from being president.

What is with this "irresponsible bully" analysis of Trump? If he were irresponsible, he would not have been so successful in business, something Hillary knows nothing about. As for bully, where is that coming from, he does not make this white middle class lady feel intimidated at all. What is with the wha wha feminist who feel threatened by him? Men should feel very threatened by Hillary, as she curses like a sailor and seems t hate men.and has a trail of mysterious suicides behind her for those who have crossed her. Have we come to the point where college educated women need a "safe room" or Hillary t protect them! What crap! I know she will destroy our Republic, by design. I would much rather take the chance with Trump. I like strong straight talk, does not scare me. Johnson is a nut case who did noting for New Mexico, and is a bit weird..

The false choice of Hillary does not change the actions of Trump. He treats no one respectfully. He has used his government connections to try to force a homeowner to sell their property against their free will. Trump is a bully.

Trump is not a bully, yes he is forceful. He comes from an era when businessmen were not PC wimps. On the other hand the rabid Hillary knows exactly what she is doing. Trump did go to a zoning board who allowed him to take land for a casino to get more jobs in the area. However, Hillary supports Agenda 21 and the taking of all our land to be manaed by government. Sorry, but no can do, she is a self-serving Marxist and those are our choices. She will use guns against landowners. She is beyone bully, she is an empty shell of heartlessness.

He IS a politician (and has been his entire life). He, too, is a Progressive. Same old; same old. Your choice is a liar, cheat and loser -- male version or female version.

To be boring to everyone else to be successful in business in NEW YAWK CITEEEE one must be a Democrat or at least act like one and must pay the required baksheesh, mordida bribes or donations. If you think he's a politician you are standing very very alone with no support on that statement He's flawed he's learning but he ain't there yet.

Progressive? With his record. Strike three? That was invented by the lame stream media.

My choice? My first choice was and still a top choice is voting for None of the above but my First choice (and I can see it's not your choice) is between a Constitutional Republic and a Socialist Autocracy.

Let's see if your NYC fixation works two ways. Please is a New York Term does it mean what it implies when you use it? Does it make you something you are not. It stems from a certain NY Culture and is too often knee jerked to includ te speaker in that culture. Come on you can tell us to quote Chung. Do you like being tarred that way. And that's all it takes just a suggestion and a lot of repetition - nothing but personal opinion or the curent party line. So please tell us are you one of them or are you not one of them.

You'll believe any lie he tells you. To be successful in NY, you need a rich daddy, which is what he had. Daddy make all the contacts for little Donald to use. He's a liar, a cheat, a bully and a Democrat.

That would be fine if he had less money than his father, or even just a little bit more. Instead he has vastly exceeded his father's wealth and has been successful for decades. The initial contacts only work for a shot time, after that you are on your own.

We are not looking for someone to build a country from scratch, they will have assets and influence to start. What we want them to do is to grow those assets, not shrink them.

Actually we want the government to shrink the assets they control by returning them to private hands and getting out of the way of individuals and private companies. Trump will not do this. (Of course, neither will the other statist candidate Hillary.) This discussion is a waste of effort.

Trump at least knows what it means to run a private business. He knows how expensive it is to deal with regulation. I'm not sure why you don't think this would influence his decisions.

Will he become an Objectivist? Obviously not, but that incrementalism works. The Democrats have used it for years to build the nanny state. No one is going to get rid of it in a term or two.

Because he will be spending your money, not his.
Both parties have used incrementalism to increase their own power, i.e., the power of the state. Trump is running to be more powerful and he will increase the power of the state, especially the executive branch. This discussion is a waste of time. Neither of us will change our thinking on Trump.

At this point I'll settle for collapse and run in utter disarray the other is far easier to take care of especially since a part of her support is the Republican leadership.

In that event the the lamestream will switch loyalty within moments. But never trust them.

No time to hold a victory feast immediate switch targets and whomever is left standing. The key word would be Constitutional Republic Party a coalition for the unrepresented or some very similar phrase backed up with an agreed upon set of beliefs that leave out the fanatics and focus on the important issues. The rest can be settled later and most the rest should belong to states anyway.

Constitutional protections to add a clear definition of propery rights and ban income tax. The start point is a. all states have recall and b recall includes their state elected delegates to the federal congress of States With that in place any State can jerk any of the jerks that forget their place and for get to say Yes Sir, No Ma'am and No Excuse Citizen.

Get the real republicans the few left 15 Senate and a few in the Representatives. Have them bolt the party and switch membership to the new one. That makes it a legal foundation on which to build then attack on the grassroots and the State level and whats left of the Rinos in the Senate.

Major point get control of SCOTUS appointments. .

Trump for sure is going to go along with whomever and protect his wealth first. It's why he isn't pandering to the left wing extremists. He'll support that and Capitalism. etc. and he won't go left because they are more of a threat to his wealth than anyone.

But the key is immediate response with a plan everyone you know in the other blogs or media ready and if those seated Congressionals will do what I just said they will have a brand new party to operate.

Otherwise if it's back to bickering and nit picking it will go back to being the same in two or three elections.

That means priorities with the minor crap pushed to the side. and that means Coalition time. No matter whose at the helm.

Trump will be easier to change than Johnson can be changed and Weld has to go.
end of story. Think or Thwim.

Why do I say that. People do what they do for four reasons. Money, Sex, Patriotism and the latter depends on which side and Power. Trump is a 1 with a dash 3 and 4 mixed. Hillary a definite 4 with a lot of 1 and dash of 2

Ladies Gentleman it's just a matter of strategy and tactics attack the weak avoid the strong. But if you play like Temujins sons you wil lget a share and then face the same fight. That evilness is not going to quit. Question is what are you prepared to do?

                              Stop Enabling
                              Take Control
                              Make Change

and then take all the agents of the left outside and like any good revolution or counter revolution does try them in a court of law.

Can't leave them running loose. No Quarter and No Pardons.

Is what I just said legal? If it's a counter revolution definitely.

And don't forget to invite the troops to the party. They after al have the ultimate legal right.

Could we a maybe agree on Hillary will not do this and take a lot more for sure and Trump MAY not do this thought we don't know for sure? We don't really have any evidence of actions in an elected postiion of great power.

That is a diversion and a direct personal attack but moderators take not I'm not making it a complaint. It is not an answer nor a useful fact. Little Jealousy there not to mention you have shown no familiarity with NYC and failed to answer the question. Are you one of them? Probably not since you can't answer which means your personal opinions are suspect due to lack of knowledge. Establishment RINO at best

Trying to get something that is worthy of a debate but it's not a lost effort. A great demonstration of independent objective thinking over. what.... nothing than can be stated and by the way to the moderaters if this is another 24 suspension deal can I ask for Wednesday?

You see this is an objectivist site whe deal in fadts not unsupported personal opinion. So I reversed your method to demonstrate which is fair. to demonstrate what one tiny unsupported word can cause. If you dont understand the comparison using one of it's most famous phrases you are not cognizant of NYC .

That suggests the rest is suspect. Especially in the absence of facts which was apparent in a New York minute.

I used to be a registered Republican precisely because my parents were registered Democrats and two bigger hypocritical racists never existed to my knowlege as a youth and adult. I then registered as a Libertarian and finally Independent and an Objectivist.

Here we deal in facts. You had one 'he registered as a Republican.' Not nearly enough

Back to round two are you one of them?

My apologies but was one miss spelled word worth a zero. For the record it is not fads but facts. I guess what's his name decided to cut and run. A zero is also not a fact just a quack.

And my apologies to the residents of NYC but you made a fine analogy.

The "crybullies" so popular with the media today are unsettled by a strong figure who fights back against slander and innuendo. This comes from public school training that insists "It takes two to fight," and punishes the victim the same as the abuser. The media expected Trump to follow Mitt Romney's example of apologizing every time anyone accused him of anything, whether the accusation was credible or not, and were shocked when they discovered Trump doesn't put up with that nonsense.

It doesn't take slander and inuendo to prove Trump's bully status. He has used his government connections to try to force a homeowner to sell their property against their free will for his own personal gain. Bully and looter.

I'm a libertarian/conservative/Constitutionalist, and I agree that the choices are not what I would wish for. However, as an avid gun owner and shooter, I will vote for Trump with his strong statement of support for the 2nd Amendment - if for no other reason.

Trump supported gun control until just before he announced his candidacy.
Trump is a politician who will say anything to get the votes he needs to be elected, imo. (Much like the other GOP/Dem candidates.) No doubt Hillary would be worse for gun rights.

When one calls someone a name such as bully it is incumbent on the caller to point out the evidence that substantiates the claim.. Trump has a reputation with his emplyees and people he has done business with that has never indicated he was a bully. Speaking of bullies, has anyone looked at Hillary's reputation?

I totally agree with you. Like most Republican candidates, he is receiving the typical bashing from the liberal media and the ruling class. The New York Times went on record saying to the media something like, "Take Trump out." You won't hear one word about what people who work with him and for him really think.

The answer to many of the dilemmas is something called Perception Management. I can control your perception of....anything you won't look behind the wall to find out the rest of the program. If Hillary can control perception of just enough fifty percent plus 1 she could care less about the rest of it. Who helps in this . Usual but they don't tell you what they are doing. It's a form of propaganda with a purpose. I'll do some more on that separately

Main thing is they only need Just Enough the rest is immaterial and irrelevent and they can turn 50% plus one into a landslide, and avalanche. a Tsunami a mandate just by managing perception for jsut enough people.

I could use it and make you think Carville was a decent human being.
