Cruz tells Texas delegates: I won’t be a “servile puppy dog” to a man who attacked my wife and father

Respect. As principled as I would have expected. It took guts to give his speech knowing the crowd would be hostile toward him. I suppose "vote your conscience" is a sensitive subject for DT followers.

Writing to Cruz, telling him to go Constitution Party, he'd fit right in.

Cruz could hardly be said to be servile, which is why he was/is hated by the R establishment. I've been watching him for a long time waiting for him to slip up.

Won't be a "servile puppy dog"? Cruz offered to do just that several days after the spat about his wife.
“Cruz: I Will Support GOP Nominee, Even If It's Trump”

Cruz tried to have it both ways, insisting while he was still in the race that he would keep his pledge, then reneging when Trump actually became the nominee.

If Cruz was going to abandon his pledge, the time to do it was immediately after his family was dragged into the campaign, not four months later. Given the timeline, it's no surprise that he came across as a sore loser.

Considering he made it to the top being a servile puppy chow hound of the left along with the rest of the Republicans can we now safely say he made it to the top? As for the Dumbos one down one to go.

GOP voters get just what they deserve since they are too stupid to learn from 30 years of betrayals.
Too bad the rest of us have had to suffer for their stupidity.
