More proof that manufacturing is becoming less and less important. If the US wants to retain its standard of living it better start inventing and protecting those inventions, because that is where the economy is going.

    I agree completely.

    Manufacturing has been becoming less important and innovation more important for a long time.

    Maybe regulators in the US won't approve Olli, but somewhere they will.

    I actually think the whole notion of countries retaining their standard of living is dying with the notion of rich countries and poor countries. When we were kids US was a rich country and Ethiopia was a poor country. Now it's more about if you can find a way to use these new technologies to help people, not which country you're born in.
