Introducing some people to Rand in my area

I'm managing to make people around me read Rand! Even one who only reads magazines is going to read Anthem, and the rest are reading The Fountainhead or We the Living. Right now I've got at least 7 people who are going to read it, and one of them is a literature professor who is going to read We the Living!
Later this week I will try to get into a course of Austrian Economics, which also criticises Keynesianism, given at the University. Unluckily it is probably going to be given during school hours, plus it is pretty advanced, but wish me luck with it!

P.D.: I live in Argentina, so Ayn Rand isn't really known, and it isn't surprising that a literature professor doesn't know her (Although it certainly is disappointing)

Yeah, I am an amazing artist/designer but I got to know Miss Rand and her "inner circle" because I became friends with Dr. Allan Blumenthal and his wife Joan (still dear friends), and they included me at parties and social events, even tho I was just a nerdy kid from Texas, and didn't really deserve to be hanging with people of that calibre. What a rush those days were!

I...I cant believe this, you could meet Ayn Rand and Frank O'Connor? Are you a real person? hahah I can't believe it, something that would only be possible nowadays with a time machine. I don't know why it sounds so surreal hahaha you must certainly be an amazing artist!

I designed several NBI books for Miss Rand, including her original INTRODUCTION TO OBJECTIVIST EPISTEMOLOGY, and I knew her husband, Frank O'Connor, better because we were both artists. I was just a kid, but....WOW!!!

Thanks! I actually also really like Borges, and the tale "The Garden of Forking Paths" is supposed to be based on the house in which I go to school (Some old aristochratic houses are turned into private schools in my country) so well, I'm actually acquainted with his works!

Cheers to you for launching awareness of Ayn Rand (whom I knew, worked with and studied with in NYC during the 1960s) in Argentina. This is how reason slowly shows the human race how to live free and happy lives on the planet Earth. Kerry

Great job! Please keep us informed. Curious to know what people think when they read Rand for the first time.
