Obviously, you're not. I'm comparing the 2 movie PROJECT SERIES, eg "Atlas" (a triology) vs "Capri" (a single movie, different subject, awaiting production). You may want to re-read my reply again.

They did, but to a limited audience. Three will likely generate interest in the first 2. Capri, OTOH, will pull people from a lot of different philosophies, much as did "my villa in Tuscany" did... it paints a widely accepted and somewhat romantic picture.

Do not make the incorrect assumption that the producers of AS will ONLY produce that type of movie... as a moneymaker I think that Capri has a bigger potential audience draw. Sure, I'fd love everyone to see and "get" AS, but truth be told, it will apply across the population,, not just to we rationalist

Excellent choice. Perhaps my favorite author. Once upon a time dated Chinese lassie who worked for a hong known widely as "The Noble House" down in Kuala Lumpur.

We don't know their business plan, but The Road To Capri may be a good fit for financial reasons and opportunity.

I would love to see a remake of the James Clavell novel "King Rat". It is about his experience in PoW camp, with a microcosm of a free market economy running inside the camp (against camp rules), and the imbalance that causes. There is a mixture of resentment and admiration of the success of one particular prisoner.
There was a 1965 B&W movie, but a remake is overdue.

I get it. They don't mean to be Johnnies One-note in the motion picture industry. But I am definitely not the target market for The Road to Capri, their next project.

I can't think of another project that would be "a good fit" for them. Unless they wanted to take on "Anthem." I don't think anyone has tried to adapt that for film.

I read a book recently that would make a great movie. Wonder if they take requests?

Hmmmm. I'm not the target market for that movie, even though I like Ian McShane. More info is needed though.
