Instead they are encouraged (with government support payments stolen from the productive) to keep playing in the gene pool. Their only "production" is more looters. The death of the meritocrcacy means a less comfortable, less safe lifestyle for everyone.

It amazes me that so many people out there screaming for minimum wage increases to $15 per hour can't comprehend the end results of what they are asking for. They will loose jobs. And in this case permanently. When companies are pushed to pay so much more in wages and then implement automated systems like these, these jobs are gone. Even when the economy comes back, those jobs will not. It is also hard to feel too bad for those who refuse to listen to reason and are content to demonize the "rich" who employ them.
