Yes...count me in. My favorite all time book and favorite all time author! Rand's philosophy shaped much of my word view since I was in my late teens.Pushing 60 now and still find her message and this book one of the greatest pieces of literature/philosophy of all times!

Yes. As our world becomes more like Ayn Rands vision. It would be an honor to stand and be counted.

I have been a lone Gultman in a world of Education. I support the education industry as a provider of material and instructional resources and for the most part i am surrounded by moochers and would love to give back in any way to suppor the idea that our future depends on children learning the value of entrepreneurship and hard work. All characteristics of Atlas.

But.... God, and/or his voice, isn't IN Atlas Shrugged. Hmmmm now I'm really curious what God's voice sounds like....and who's to say he doesn't sound like Mickey Mouse...or Jiminy Cricket? The verification process to prove the sound of the real God's voice is going to be veeeery tricky.

The AS Film Trilogy will be a true classic....They are faithful to AR's message and are really well done ..... Don't know your plans but asking people how they were first introduced to AS could be fascinating. ... Now - I could also be a bearded 73-old crowd-pleasing extra milling around in some background . :) ... In 1962 a mentor friend called me from Alaska, inviting me to a NYC Waldorf Astoria lecture where Ayn Rand often did Q&A. ... Not knowing any better and puzzled I asked her -- how in the world could you advocate laissez faire capitalism when some monopolists admittedly did some really "bad things"? .. Instead of a dismissive, withering 30 sec reply she spontaneously lectured us for a bonus 15 minutes! ... Yes - I was sold - as her answer can be summed in one AHA sentence.

Great book and better movie. Should be a mandatory read for every student and necessary to be able to graduate from high school. Wait, by government design, most cannot read. Should be mandatory for all graduates to see movie when finished. Oops sorry, that wouldn't be politically correct. Oh well, lets just give them a joint, it's legal here in Colorado, keep them uninformed and stupid, then tell them it is their RIGHT to VOTE.

I first read Atlas Shrugged at age of 21. It was difficult for such a young person but I took it all in and with the teachings of my parents, have always lived by the motto of self-responsiblity. I read it again around age 30, I am now 45, I have passed it onto my children. I have always been very active trying to fight for our freedoms and liberty, I am like Dagny, not ready to give up the fight. If only there really was a Galt's Gulch, it would be filling up quickly. There is still hope.

I have read most of her books over the years several times and have collected first editions of Atlas Shrugged and have an original copy of We the Living.

I married a wonderful woman 3 years ago, this July. Thing is, her and her daughter are from Indonesia and they have more of the hard-working, family-loving, give more than you take attitude than many Americans.

I have read Atlas quite a few times, but the movies have opened up the story and these ideas to people who otherwise wouldn't have the chance. My family is eagerly awaiting AS3. What better way to welcome them than to make them part of the film!

July can't get here soon enough. I should be in AS3 because I know Ayn Rand's works through and through, because in real life I AM a Dagny Taggart, and my husband is a combination of Ragnaar, John, and Fransisco all rolled into one. I've been an Ayn Rand fan for many, many, years (too many to count),...well the reasons it should be me are endless...AND, I have a terrific sense of humor so would be fun to work with! :-)

I first read Atlas Shrugged in 1965 as required reading. Hated it! Then I read it again, & again, & again. 27 times to date. Saw parts 1 & 2 on the 1st day it was shown, the 1st show. Bought 1 & 2 on BluRay. You couldn't have a bigger fan!!

Galt's Gulch is an opportunity to be so much more than a backdrop to a storyline; it can be a showcase of simple industry without govt intervention. I would like to be in the scene where Galt goes out to buy breakfast-I'd be the gal finishing up milking who hands him a half gallon of delicious natural milk. So much symbolism there. The eggs are easily collected and a baker nearby can round out that meal with a fresh-from-the-oven loaf.

In real life I am a milkmaid whose family subsists on my dairy products, but as much as I would love to share my cheeses, milk, and butter I dare not...because govt interferes with regulation, price fixing and laws.

The market of Galt's Gulch can show industry based on value and personal responsibility. Taking a deep gulp of straight up milk (how shocking to so many) might be too controversial, though, for the producers to include. But, oh, how I would like to show people how natural and simple life can be if they would only be willing to shrug off the nanny state mentality.

I fear we are plunging into the world Ayn Rand describes. If only Galt's Gulch could be a reality. You'd find me at the dairy barn. :-D
