Amazing. This is actually difficult to believe. Usually the bleeding hearts are the first to excuse people with disabilities. I guess the forgiveness of the left doesn't extend to protecting one's self.

Agreed. The teacher clearly witnessed the harassment, and we can infer previous incidents also, and yet did not correct the situation our punish the perpetrators. If punishment had occurred, one presumes the recording would not have been necessary.

I blame the whole thing on the teacher. If the teacher had squashed it early on then the incident would not have happened. Since it did happen though, the bullies should be the ones with records, not the one being bullied!!!! The teacher obviously does not have control of the classroom!!!

Part of the so-called messiah's plan. Death Panels to those of no use, expectations, or any obligation to his agenda. Some of these people are part of the plan, but forget to realize they are part of the experiment themselves. If you consider this a joke I really have not seen many laughing lately.

Ah, the implacable brutality of unmitigated Darwinism, alpha males and might makes right. The war culture is phasing out bleeding hearts for bleeding bodies. The police state is phasing in biased judges, crony cops, and specious arguments. This is just the beginning. Bullies are the new heroes. Just wait till they make sterilization mandatory.

It can be dangerous to record wrongdoing. Certain elements of the authorities do not want it so that they are not filmed slapping people around or worse. This kid was just made an example of, which often happens to those who lack the resources to defend themselves in what passes for a judicial system these days.

What the kid did, threatened the establishment. The kid's welfare is not important (never mind the usual slogan that it's "for the children" - that simply means bend over). The establishment will fight back, viciously and relentlessly. Another good example to show that socialist schools are a cancer.

    As I always thought.
The bullies are part of the system to pound the square pegs into the government round holes.
    Collusion, plain and simple

Ah, that they were. I wish they were now. It seems to me that most of the school boards and administration are pushing the leftist programs. This case is just one example out of many. So, that leads me to think that the folks on boards and administrations are of the left persuasion.

That's a fact. And it's also a draw back to other kids in the class. The teacher has to spend a lot more time focused on them. They are often disruptive and far behind e others. Not fair to the rest of the class. 30 kids in a class is next to impossible to keep focused without the added special cases... the teachers fall into a pattern of trying to keep them herded to maintain order in the classroom or else it's chaos and mayhem. It's done by design. Turns into teaching collectivist habits and instilling group think and they don't even realize that's what they're doing. Big classes no matter what excuses they have for it, is done on purpose.

The problem is the kid thought they would receive justice, like the school had fed into their brain, and when she held them to it , the school showed itself as the hypocrite it was. And then punished her for exposing their laundry.

Should have made a copy of the recording, post it to youtube, legal or not let the public hear it. Posting to youtube you could make a freedom of speech / press argument. Since when do we have a reasonable expectation of privacy in a public facility (not the bathrooms but common areas of a public facility). I'd wager the first thing to fall would be PA's wiretapping law.

Those "special needs" kids bring in big bucks to the school districts... they may not like them there, but they are quite often a cash cow for the socialist mass-production factories otherwise known as pubschools.

No.poor a'Schools get more funding and think they need more gadgets. Most are not returned or damaged or not used for their intended purpose or lost. It is a huge waste.

The School board and the School Administration decide who gets these positions, the boards seem to have final say. Anyone can run to be on the board, participate in local government. Our Founding Father were participants!

Government and Institutional grants for teaching and learning innovation?! The iPads were probably issued under a grant program. Poorer school district do this all of the time.

Hey, Maph. Who runs the school systems these days? How does one get to be a principal? The left is in control of the education system in this country, so the accusation can't be far off the mark.

No. The bleeding heart libs often hate kids with special needs. This is because such kids are seen by public school admins as flies in the ointment of their organizations - requiring funds they'd rather spend on things like Earth Day celebrations and condoms. ( only mild sarcasm here)
