Kasich himself is deliberately doing that; he knows he has no chance to win the primaries and is trying to force a contested election in the hope of manipulating himself into position. But he is an establishment politician with no legitimate reason to be there at all.

As for supporters, not necessarily. People who support whom they want to win can have a negative effect, but aren't necessarily motivated like a Soros. Soros is sophisticated operator who knows exactly how the system works and what he can do to cause disruption for his own political ends (which do not include wanting the Republican establishment).

Supporters of minority candidates should, however, look at the consequences of what they are doing and vote realistically. Votes are for deciding within a limited range of realistic choices who will be in power, not for making a "statement". Someone who wants to make a statement should make a statement and not confuse it with voting.

What "ideals"? They take money from anywhere in pursuit of their own power.

Well, that's what I've been saying here and elsewhere for the past year or so...
Each election has been crazier (my word) than the last one for decades!

There you go....as long as you remember it's the right wing of the left so it may be more in the realm of party discipline...

Make you wonder, doesn’t it? Soros supports Kasich and he also supports the anti-Trump protestors. Evidently, he does not want Trump to win. But why back Kasich and not Cruz? Soros isn’t just trying to prevent Trump from getting the nomination, he’s trying to create as much turmoil within the Republican Party as he can.

Is that true for everyone who contributes to or votes for Kasich? Is it also true of supporters of Gary Johnson?

That may be true, but for Kasich to take it says plenty about how committed he is to his ideals. LOSER. Waste of skin the same as the Beast. Hasn't he heard "Just say no"? Addicted to money like all of the turds.

That may be, but to go forth trumpeting his Republicrat ideals and "I will represent you" crap, he is a big a lying sack of crap as the Beast and Barack. I am convinced now this is all a bunch of shape shifting aliens....

Soros is a weasel par excellance! He is doing this according to his plan. He also needs some serious plastic surgery for the bags under his eyes, unless it is a wax face melting off. Yuck.

AJ, I think the Brussels thing may sway a lot of votes Trumps way, he was the only one who forecasted it, and HillaryBeast was too busy with lawyers and making deals for the next deposit to the Clinton Foundation, to really say much.

Kasich is a 'spoiler' with no chance of winning enough primaries. Soros is exploiting that to block the leading candidates he hates more than Kasich, and to create and extend more confusion and controversy at a convention with no winner of the primaries going in, undermining the Republican opposition to Clinton. He wants Kasich to prevent a clear winner before the convention, especially Trump or Cruz as the winner. He is leveraging an existing situation to make it worse and try to push it over the edge into more confusion than otherwise.

Don't you think that political contributions from companies come with some expectations of political favors of one kind or another?

If we're playin' that game, I call "BS". Your contradictory defense of Hillary's Pal is without evidence.

:-) Maybe they cooked up this whole scheme at his wedding...the ultimate deal.

Trump plays the crony game with the politicians and exposes it for all to see so we can do something about it. Trump self funds his campaign. Hillary, Cruz, Rubio, and others take contributions offering in exchange political favors.

But you are an exception. I planned on retiring with full retirement pay intact only to find out 30% of it had disappeared by the time I passed from 64 to 65. I didn't plan on having to plan on a similar amount disappearing on the next go round. I appears like Shylock is going to take his pound of flesh no matter who gets elected and use it to feather his retirement fund and his next income as well. But then he has his own fat lady whistling a tune and waiting in the wings stage left.

You often (unjustifiably) tout Trump as having "no strings"; yet fail to acknowledge his recent history of 'holding the strings', passing out the 'strings', and braiding the 'strings'. You hold the belief that he has "repented" of his cronyist ways and now, only "tells it like it is".

    (Cue the mantra.... :-) )

I am confused by the comments saying donating to Kasich disrupts the Republican Party. Isn't Kasich one of the party establishment favorites? You can make the same argument that donating to Trump or Kasich disrupts the party, by helping the populist or establishment branch respectively.

I disagree on the PAC money doesnt have strings attached. They are invisible and hidden strings, but you can bet Hillary or Cruz doesnt ignore those contributors. They dont acknowledge the strings, but they are obviously there. If HIllary treats wall street "badly", they will dump her next election. Same with Cruz. Our system is cronyism at its finest.

Pac money has no ties...their just supporting a cause or a candidate...now "special interest" money like a big company, sorass, trumpet...now that's where the favors are due.
But even so, if the principles are the same on both sides (assuming there good principles) it's not a bad thing...the favor is...please do a good job...that's how I felt when I donated to Cruz, the first time ever I put my two cents where my mouth was.

And like always...I'm still checking up on him, just like I'm still checking myself of the research I've done in my work. That's what's called a willingness to "respond differently" when something goes wrong. [Wide Scope Accountability] It's not easy.

Soros has not sponsored Kasich. He is playing the usual role of disruption to undermine Cruz and Trump and to create chaos in the Republican party by leveraging off the existing controversies.

Its so hard to get truthful information. I saw a site that showed the total amounts of PAC money that has been contributed to the various candidates, including the ones who have dropped out. It was staggering, and Cruz was right up there with the biggest. As I remember Hillary was on top, and Carson was pretty close to Cruz. It was a story on yahoo news, but I didnt save it. Sorry
