Ann Coulter does the best job which I've seen so far
at explaining how our angry populace views The Donald.

Is pundit synonymous with honest? Or do they just grin and make a pun of it? Not for nothing those programs are called Discrace The Nation.

yes, and they are trying to spin stuff worse than my
clothes washer on rinse. . an honest pundit would
say that the combination of influences this year is
so new that prediction is impossible. -- j

I'm wondering why you are doing so in such a disinterested lackadazical manner. A far left socialist extremist who, a left wing extremist socialist statist and trump as a left wing socialist corporatist make up the three choices that side is offering. That side being the controlling rulers of the Government Party. th esole surviving candidate that somehow slipped through their fine meshed nets seems to be Mr. Cruz - possibly and none from the 46% unrepresented and disenfranchised and anti left wing artichokes have been offered so much as a peek at a starting gate unless forced in by a majority of write ins. Hardly likely in an atmosphere of leftist propagandists and pimps.

So as it sits now ...we have two leftist looters arrayed against one leftist moocher. Close to half the electorate has no representation at all and the polls are rigged to keep it that way. Small wonder a revolt or to be more accurate a counter revolution is taking place.against this charade.

The point is if you feel as jsw2225 proclaims then why are you settling for some more servings of the same left wing fascist menu? Sanders, Clinton and Trump all together do not represent the United States of America. Except in the minds of leftist propagandists and pimps.

First of all, I would say that he is the only politician who comes right out with the cronyism that is rampant now, with campaign contributions and all.

Secondly, I would ask why you would think Trump would do so many of the bad things, and NONE of the good things that we need? Hillary and Sanders are actually promising to do ALL those bad things and NONE of the good things.

Precisely. Trump is a crony capitalist who has been quoted as saying that you don't have a heart if you don't believe in socialized medicine. As POTUS, he will soon discover that the easiest way to control the economy is to nationalize it. With him, it's all about making the deal...

Good point. My view is that its too early to know what they WILL do. Almost all promises made in campaigns are never carried out anyway. One tries to put the person in there who will at least pick good advisors and run the business parts of the government like proper businesses (not to say that the government should really be in any business endeavors- but it certainly is). Also, one who will present our country proudly and honestly to the world, and not like the arrogant Obama, who taps Angela Merkels cell phone, kills thousands of muslims in the middle east for a useless war, and then apologizes to the muslims for the existence of our country. People denigrated DT for Putin's praise of Trump, but I thought that was a real PLUS. You want the leaders of foreign countries to respect us. It will be easier and more forthright to deal with them, with less chance of some stupid war starting up out of mistakes.
Trump would meet with putin, and both would plainly state what we want, and then a deal would be made which would let both of us prosper.

It wont be Trump that makes America Great Again anyway. Its US who will do that once we are freed from the shackles of government. I think Trump understands that, as opposed to Hillary/Sanders who thinks government will make the country grow (which it really cant)

    Have never been a Trump hater. Met DT;
Marla, too, eons ago in his NJ casino and
found him to be a fun=guy, pleasant, etc.
Still think it's time he began making with the
specifics re: his promises to make
    American great again. Those promises
sound tooooo good to come true!!!
    We should be so lucky!!!

I have to say that after she was blindsided by Obama at the last minute, I thought the same thing would happen this time. I think she is disliked, but the powers that be like that she can be bought for a few contributions. The voters, however, I think harbor severe distrust of her in the quiet of the voting booth. I dont believe the media at all, as they support her. I hope Sanders blindsides her so Trump can more easily win the general election

So the GOP has failed to keep these bad judges away, and the Dems want these bad judges on the court, but you propose voting for the GOP candidate because you can't trust a libertarian who wants strict construction of the constitution and who supports the 2nd amendment without reservations.

I think she is beatable. Even her staunchest supporters are beginning to distance themselves, and when the FBI reveals its findings, and possibly worse still, gets her indicted, it may be over for her. If that happens, look for Biden to suddenly appear, reborn out of necessity.

Unfavorable tendencies of progressive, activist judges now sitting on the SCOTUS: all four have voted in favor of every gun control measure that has come before them; all four voted in favor of eminent domain. Those are a couple.

I didn't get to read the whole article; it turned out to
be a video, and not a silent one, either; and I have
had too much trouble in this library trying to get
headphones to work properly with the machines. So
I usually just don't watch videos.

Trump's appeal seems to be to people who
want to put emotion over reason.

I dont listen to the polls, as they all have hidden agendas and most of them are run by liberal bias.

it puzzles me when the pundits say that DT is not
electable because of "his negatives" -- the "I would
never vote for" polls and the like. . I doubt their numbers
and think that he would trounce Hillary Diane. -- j

Rubio is hot. He would appeal to women for sure. I did hear something about him swinging both ways (which I dont care about at all, but it might kill his chances with women if it comes out)

I have that sense of slickness as well. While my wife is impressed with him, he reminds me of John Edwards on the Democratic side -- and we know how that turned out!

Rubio is too slick for me. I really dont know what he would do in office, except make raped women carry the baby to term (kind of stupid in my opinion). Both of them are religious zealots in different ways. But they are both political. If Trump wasnt going to get elected even if he is nominated, I would just withdraw I think from the whole discussion- planning instead for the rapid dissolution of the country. Rubio/Cruz wouldnt win against Hillary. She is too entrenched in my opinion and has too much money behind her.

socialism is going to take over in the end here in the USA. Its only a matter of how long it will take. Obama really speeded up the process, as would Sanders and Hillary. Trump not so much

You speak as if the only alternative to Trump is Hillary. I scorn her. I would rather elect a weasel than her. But there's also Cruz and Rubio. I think that Cruz would be a far better candidate. Rubio's main virtue is that most polls show that he'd beat Mrs. Clinton in a general election. No candidate other than the Libertarian, comes close to Objectivist standard, but of those with the possibility of winning, I prefer Cruz.
