Not exactly the "Principaled" thing to do...fits right into his meme or level of awareness...doing what ever you have to do to succeed.
Cunning?, Yes; Clever? Yep...but doing these things does not indicate one is smart; only devious, compartmentalized and perhaps the most dangerous man alive.
Do you really want THIS creature for

Give me a break! It's business tactics, not even rising to the level of strategy. When I started up my space tourism venture, with our vehicle called the Space Cruiser, the competition bought up every URL variation on spacecruiser they could imagine, and we beat all of them in getting launch funding and lots of media attention. We eventually failed as the dotcom bubble dried up funding, but Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic is executing the business plan we gave him (after the non-compete agreement lapsed). This complaint is downright pickiunish.

maybe he could see the light and be a consistent objectivist, but then again that would doom him to extinction I suppose. I dont think he has a chance in hell of being president this time around

His only chance would be to publicly disavow his brother's wars and reverse his stance on treating invaders as if they were immigrants. Fat chance!

I totally agree with your observation. Rather than "putting me off," I am impressed by an artfully executed, glorious, technological coup.

wouldn't it be super if his goals were those of, say,
Rand Paul? . or Gary Johnson? -- j

Jeb Bush is a dead man walking. No one wants a third Bush and the same old stuff. He will never be president, or even get the nomination.

If this were fiction, most critics would call it too far-fetched.
I did give me a chuckle, however.

I don't disagree that he is playing to win at any cost, facts be darned. Its up to the other candidates to be better than he is ( in terms of being more compelling) or up to citizens to make the most informed choice possible. I don't have much confidence either will occur.

Good for a laugh when I read about it yesterday and Beth here says it's old news.
Mr. Loose Cannon Candidate hired someone to trump "grasshopper eyes" as I like to call Sir Jeb of the Royal House of Bush.

It's interesting to note that K Marx described a strong man would come along around the demise of capitalism that would exclaim to be able to Fix everything...at that point we would go head first from tyranny to communism.
Sounds like the kakistocracy has been following that play book.

Correct, the only way that happens is if someone ignores the 3 months of renewal payment requests or doesn't have the $10 or whatever.

To me, it just demonstrates Jeb's inability to manage an enterprise like his own campaign, let alone the US government and foreign policy.

Either way, while I was never a fan of Jeb's, I was even more horrified when he dragged his 90 year old mom and her walker up to New Hampshire to campaign for him in the cold. That's pretty lame.

Trump didn't need to learn anything to play this game, he's been adept at it most of his life. I grew up in NY and saw him on the news and in the headlines regularly. He knows the game and how to control it. I'm not as sure as you are that his acumen at playing the political game is such a good thing for the United States. Whose to say that once he takes office he'll have any loyalty to the country and won't just work to satisfy himself (again).

Also, he's not being honest in his assessment of the other candidates. He's saying, making up, whatever he needs to in order to win - lack of maturity and character; also part of the "game", the ugly part.

I guess you have to decide for yourself, do you want a guy who is sharp like a Fox or dumb like a Rabbit.

I think it is funny as hell and probably why Jeb seems to have smoke coming out of his ears lately.

Good. So he's learned a few things from the career politicians he's running against. Gotta play the game if you want to win.

An opportunist first and foremost, he can't be completely trusted to work solely in the best interests of this country.I do hope, should he win, that he is sincere.

Another Brilliant marketing Coup for Trump and/or his team. He also came out against George Bush and the war in Iraq, so that if he wins he is taking away that issue from the Socialist and the Fauxmenist.

He is relying on good support in South Carolina to win despite his comments on Bush. Let's see.

He is a risk taker and he and/or his team good strategists. Exactly what we need to defeat Islamic Evil and make deals with other countries.

EXACTLY ! This article is old news anyway. I heard this a while ago. I no longer like Trump for other reasons, but this is the kind of thing I DO like about him. I'm sick of INEPT presidents. At least Trump is, or hires people who are on top of things !!

Shows humor and skill sorely lacking in the other candidates.

Jeb got Jeb2016 and apparently didn't think to cover other likely ones. Trump didn't put up a fake site or anything, just redirected to Trumps regular site.

When George W Bush was running, someone bought gwbush.com and put up a site critical of him. Now it's happening to his brother.

I've registered and allowed to expire many domains. Someone on Jeb's team obviously was sleeping at the wheel. Losing a domain name is not a fast process, it could take months and then there is a period where it is in limbo and you can still save it for a fee.

I think Jeb was lackadaisical and got caught. I thik Trump was opportunistic - no fault there. Overall I find it pretty funny AND damning about Jeb and his ability to stay on top of things.

I register my domain names for 2 years or more each time. You'd think with his money and people his domain wouldn't be allowed to expire anywhere near an election year.
