Greetings Houston area members, I wanted to let everyone know about the Ayn Rand Club of Houston if you haven't heard about us yet. We are a casual group of Ayn Rand fans ranging from novice to longtime Objectivists. We meet once or twice a month for food, adult beverages and intelligent conversation. In fact, we have our first meetup scheduled for Thursday Jan 7th and would love to see some new faces! We are on Facebook and Meetup, so even if you can't make this one, join the group so you will have notice of future meetups. Here are the links, and please RSVP if you can make it on Thursday, as we might have to make a reservation if we have a large group. http://www.meetup.com/Ayn-Rand-Club-o... https://www.facebook.com/groups/aynra...

We have a Meetup in Austin, Sunday evenings at 6 PM. Recently we've been going thru the Nathaniel Branden tapes on Objectivism [almost finished] and we may start doing film nights, not just the canonical films, but others that members think resonate with the spirit of Objectivism. Find us at Meetup by searching for Objectivism.

Hi Eyecu2. I spent 4 years in Germany, too. US Army Infantry. Berlin Brigade. Hooah! Thanks for your service.

Would love to meet up with like minded people, however this month won't work for me. Keep me posted for Feb.

If you are worried she will be bored, don't be, we are very casual and talk about all kinds of stuff, not just Ayn Rand, and the food is excellent, it is a German restaurant, a "bit" more upscale than we normally do, but nothing to expensive considering the food and service.

No but i am sure that I can find it. Biggest question for me is whether or not I can talk my wife into going.
