Note Benjamin Franklin's statements at the bottom: “I think the best way of doing good to the poor, is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it.”

    To paraphrase lines given to Franklin in the movie 1776:

    What's so terrible about being called an American ?
    Benjamin Franklin: I wouldn't mind, were I given the full rights of an American. But to call me one without those rights is like calling an ox a bull. He's thankful for the honor, but he'd much rather have restored what's rightfully his.

    Ayn Rand's version of the billboard is on the shirt I am wearing today. "The government has no source of revenue, except the taxes paid by the producers."
