Interesting factoid that no one seems to give enough attention. Why is that?

Because the drones are too damn stupid to understand why. Therefore, it isn't a big deal to them. I'm thrilled though. At least we can be assured there are at least a million of us out there!

About sixty years old and still selling over a million copies and a huge portion of them going to schools. That is a record that is hard to beat.
I'm sure the movies helped as well as all of us getting the message across but I wonder how much credit Obama and his policies should get? He is living proof the book was right on. I loved seeing the first movie start off with the date as 2016.

More and more people are beginning to realize our country has reached the point of no return. Atlas Shrugged is a beacon to those who seek a way out of the ashes. And, yes, I believe Liberals, the media, and members of Congress are afraid of the book. They don't understand the philosophy and they can't control its followers.

Its a fact that many are afaid of. The left........and right, continues to hope that Atlas Shrugged sales will fall back to earth..............but they won't. They will only gain more steam, especially after Part III hits. For many, those movies are their introduction to Ayn Rand. They become hooked after they read the book.

I believe that is part of it. Current events and Producers like us talking about it help too.

Exactly. They ignore it in the hopes that it will fade away. I think those stats Mark provided proves otherwise.

Also, I think many of us here talk about it, and promote the ideals espoused in AS. I personally have gotten three more people in the past few weeks to start reading it. I think the reason we don't hear more about the number of her books sold in a given year, is because the main stream commentary chooses to either ignore it, or criticize it, because of their fear of it.
