Changing the name of sh## still doesn't remove the stench. It remains just as offensive, and still requires removal.

I wonder. There was a time when states would have talked succession with something like this. With all the single parents out there I think they could care less as long as someone else is watching the kid.

“Next Generation Sunshine State Standards;” this is the best they could come up with? If that doesn't scare Florida parents nothing will.

Why not call it what it is "government indoctrination."

Back to normal finally. Thanks for asking. It took almost a month to get over whatever that was. Storm veered off and we only got a few inches. How about you?

Its gone beyond thinking they know best. To claim ownership of all children. Don't give up your guns, the kids could be next.

A bad idea is a bad idea no matter what you call it. This goes even deeper. I found these two quote from the article to be horrifying:
“The children belong to all of us,” former Massachusetts Education Secretary Paul Reville recently stated. Likewise, according to MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry, “We have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families and recognize that kids belong to whole communities.”

I know!! What is wrong with people? How dare they think they know better than the parents, what is better for the kids? And to imply that my children are somehow not mine to raise as I see fit?!? Evil.
