I wonder. There was a time when states would have talked succession with something like this. With all the single parents out there I think they could care less as long as someone else is watching the kid.

Its gone beyond thinking they know best. To claim ownership of all children. Don't give up your guns, the kids could be next.

A bad idea is a bad idea no matter what you call it. This goes even deeper. I found these two quote from the article to be horrifying:

Likewise, according to MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry, “We have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families and recognize that kids belong to whole communities.”

I know!! What is wrong with people? How dare they think they know better than the parents, what is better for the kids? And to imply that my children are somehow not mine to raise as I see fit?!? Evil.
