What a fool believes? Do they not teach any history in schools anymore?

CG, the major problem with that thesis is the concept of "should be more evenly distributed," because pretty much anyone who believes that is inevitably sucked into the problem called "if we want to achieve that, HOW shall we DO it."

That assumes that an external forcing factor (i.e., government) should be used or involved, and we've seen a lot of evidence of what happens after that.

But hey, rainbows and unicorns and Bernie and Hillary... Anything Is Possible, right?

    Right?

    Of course! Just ask them!
Don't ask them for historical evidence, though.. just ask them if they're right!

    D'oh!

Bernie knows full well how to exploit the Big Lie Strategy... and the 'average American voter' is dumb enough to believe him (or Hillary).

Critical Thinking in the US is DEAD.

"Can't fix stupid". Lack of "critical thinking" and knowledge of history continues to show up in democrats supporters. A failure of the education process for the last several decades. These charts aptly illustrate the lefts refusal to recognize reality for what it is, undeniable.

When I was a photographer, here's how a fellow photographer got into the business. He was a baker. The Soviets (his word) came into his village and arrested the photographer/camera store owner. They then re-assigned the adults to their various jobs and had him take over the camera store. He knew nothing about it. Neither did the other people who were re-assigned. When he managed to get to the USA he decided he liked photography better than baking and went to school and learned the craft. The "Soviets" couldn't understand why the village's productiveness went from bad to worse a year later, which was when he decided to get the hell out of there.

I believe that the solution to crony capitalism is quite simple but very difficult at the same time. The solution is a small limited government that sticks to it's original intent, that being the Constitution. The problem is the natural tendency of government is to grow both in size and in power, with the only control being an educated populous that hold them accountable and keeps them small. IMHO, every single problem we have today stems from the self governing not paying attention and the result is a government that has taken over our lives. :( The difficult and maybe impossible part is getting back to limited government.

America will probably turn to open Socialism in my lifetime. Can't stop it, IMO. We're past the point of no return.

Or as I've said in the past "Socialism can be made to appear to work as long as there is a strong capitalist base to support it".

Yep, like I've said before, she may very well be our next president because, in 2016, PC will still trump rational thought.

That's right. Humanities departments prepare their majors for one job only: a professorship. It is the cruelest scam I ever heard of. At least I majored in engineering. I never had designs on a university professorship.

    no you didn't
    i'm here like Mighty Mouse
    to save your day
    You took the oath
    it's true it's true
but not to country nor people too
The oath was to a paper scrap
With a few word written in foolscap
To Constitution that's all you mention
Freely given, no purpose of evasions
Protect, preserve from all who invade
Or let it's colors shred and fade
    Enemies foreign or home grown
No matter where or when they're borne
And not one name ever past your lips
Much less names of these hypocrites

Unfortunately enough Democrats and Republicans do understand socialism and they see it as a path their own wealth.
