It is NOT the responsibility of business owners who hire employees to be the border patrol of this country...that is for the feds to take care of...and they WON'T. This is the craziest thing I've heard in a while (okay, in the last 6 hours), but why further burden businesses with this and accuse them of being the allure for illegals to cross the border? Protect the border and leave the business owners alone...and stay away from my private biometric information. This is just MORE gov intrusion! E-Verify THIS! (And don't cry for me Argentina...I ain't comin'.)

How does the fact that I have something to sell make me less credible? Do you automatically assume that anyone selling a product lacks credibility by definition? Is it just because the land is in Argentina? Thousands of foreigners including Americans) own property in Argentina. If I had any doubts I would not have purchased my present home. Comparing Argentina to China is, at the least, absurd.

Actually, I won't sell any part of my property to anyone just because they have the money to buy it. At these prices I am not making a ton of profit, but even if I was I would not apologize for it.

If someone doesn't have enough money to buy what I have to offer but wants to live in this area, I will gladly show them other lots which are priced lower, as well as some which cost four times the price of mine.

I will be very selective when I choose my future neighbor (who will also be choosing to live next door to me) We will be living side by side by mutual desire and shared values. Nada mas.

What you have written implies that having land for sale in Argentina means I am engaged in some type of scam. Sarcastic or cynical comments do not constitute a valid arguement.

Irronically, the link I provided to start this topic is from the blog of the individual who has a "Galt's Gulch" project in Chile.

While I am not developing a "Galch Gulch" community, I believe I have found a location that may be a safer place to live than the USA in the future and, more importantly, I LOVE living here.

As I peviously wrote, I have more freedom in Argentina now than I had in the USA (where I have not lived since Nov 2, 2000) and nothing in the article "What it is REALLY like in Argentina" bothers me in the least because it does not apply to me. The USA already has very strict regulations which apply to citizens who hide assets offshore as well as penalties which are far more severe than those which may soon take effect in Agentina.

And BTW: The only reason I am willing to sell anything I own here is because I hope to find a few like minded individuals who share my values and sense of life and with whom I can be friends. I would have to like them well enough to invite them to stay in my guest house while theirs is under construction.

And thank you for giving me the opportunity to write more about myself and what I'm doing.
