Cool. I knew it would cut the rate of growth. That's cool that it actually cut spending. They should have another budget battle and grudgingly agree to cut spending further.
If I remember right, both sides agreed to across the board spending cuts with the understanding they would negotiate targeted cuts later on. That broke down, so the across the board cuts stuck.
