Not really they are all RINOs these days OR the Republican Party needs a new name. Easier to think of them as the left wing of the left and the right wing of the left - smiley face fascists and socialist all - the Government Party. The Democrats are anything but democratic and the Republicans are lap dogs of the left what you see now is what they say in the national street theatre called elections which are anything but free and open at that level. The two names are just to make sure you fool most of the fools most of the time.
