Hi. I'm J. Neil Schulman. I'm a libertarian writer/filmmaker/actor/entrepreneur. Some of you might know me from my novels Alongside Night or The Rainbow Cadenza, or the Twilight Zone episode I wrote that was on CBS in 1986, "Profile in Silver," or my book Stopping Power: Why 70 Million Americans Own Guns, or from when I operated the SoftServ Paperless Bookstore on GEnie in 1990 or published a bunch of books through my company Pulpless.Com -- or maybe we've met at at convention or conference like FreedomFest or Libertopia or PorcFest, or maybe you know me on Facebook.. Back in 1973 after I'd interviewed Robert Heinlein for the New York Daily News I talked on the phone with Ayn Rand in preparation for an interview that didn't move forward to publication. I wrote a rave review of Atlas Shrugged Part 1 for Mondo Cult Magazine that talks about that conversation in detail, I've written, produced two independent feature films, the second of which -- Alongside Night, which I adapted from my 1979 novel -- is just going into theaters in a few weeks. On the shooting set of Atlas Shrugged 3: Who Is John Galt (I was one of the 20th Century Motor workers) Atlas Shrugged 3 associate producer Scott DeSapio suggested I add an introduction to my membership here and start cross-posting some of my recent articles on movies and libertarian topics from my blog (linked here). I hope to get to know members here better.

Hi J. Neil, welcome to the Gulch, Glad you made it! Don't forget to watch the final day of filming (for us Producers Only), Friday 2/14. It has been a hoot.
Learned a lot about the movie making business. Chat with other producers as they are filming live.
Hope to see you there or here in the Gulch.

Alongside Night looks like a great movie.I read one of your articles. Is there a way to see your movie other than selling tickets for it?
