If you think this is stupid, you need to examine all the gun laws. Read John Ross' Unintended Consequences for entertaining story, admirable characters, and history of stupid, irrational gun laws.

The only way to tackle this is a long, bloody struggle to defund and close down most of these agencies. Changing the rules for civil service advancement so that real service to the taxpayer is rewarded, rather than treating us as either criminals or revenue sources to be drained is an absolute must for positive change.
View all political candidates with caution, and carefully examine their stated positions and history. If they show real courage and willingness to take personal risks, that's more important than bureaucratic experience, as a new political figure is going to have to be willing to buck established power structures in order to make a difference that benefits us.

This is unstated premise behind questions like "Why should X be legal?" or "Do you really need Y b/c if not it should be illegal?"
Her own arrogance gives her a common delusion of the political class. The delusion that since I have a political title (Secretary of State) I make up my own rules.

Her claim is that she was "allowed" to use her private server. By 'allowed' she clearly means that "No one ever stopped me", which is of course true.
Looks like we may have to get used to Cllintonspeak again.
