We are small business people, and we believe the key to our success is to help others achieve their own success.

We help business and organizations by providing self-managed custom websites that are powerful, flexible and simple to use.

Get a Professional Website in an Hour! ...yea...right. Have you tried a website builder that promised you could have a professional website online in a few hours? That's fantastic...now you know how difficult it can be to make a great website.

We Help You Make Your Website Great. We offer the power of a custom website and the simplicity of a website-builder tool wrapped with hands-on customer support. We primarily use Joomla and Wordpress, the most popular website content management systems in the world, because they are proven technologies that continue to evolve to meet the needs and security concerns of website owners.

We are a small company committed to carving out a niche in the competitive world of website development by providing excellent personalized service and strategic marketing. We've been developing websites since 1999, and our websites have amassed millions of page views and tens of millions in gross sales. Our goal is to develop long-term relationships so we can get to know you and your business and help you achieve your goals.

Maybe we're not a good fit... Have you dealt with desperate web designers or other service providers who will tell you whatever they need to to get the job...then they fail to deliver as expected? ...we have, and we know that sucks for everyone involved. We do not operate that way. During the initial communication we can get a pretty good idea if our services are a good fit for your needs. If we're not right for you, we will tell you up front! We value your time and ours so we won't waste it trying to sell you something we can't easily provide for you.

Are you serious about this? If you want a small business website, and you don't have at least $1,000 to work with, please do not contact us. We stay very busy serving our clients. We make that same commitment to our new customers. As such, we've found that we must choose the projects we take on. We must focus on clients who are serious about growing their web presence.

*We also provide custom sports team websites through http://CivicSports.com for just $295 + hosting.

I'm currently having a website and logo developed by someone who helped us in the past. It's $2000 for a basic logo, website, and some help with making the branding and content come together.

There are many people who will do it for several hundred, BUT they can't give you a definite schedule and stick to it. I've used them and was very happy with the quality, but I'd rather pay several times more and be confident about when it will be done.

So what you're saying about not doing projects < $1000 makes perfect sense to me. People who take those end up too busy, and they're not charging enough to hire people to do the work.

Thank you very much for investing some time in me and offering some feedback.
Your $2,000 rate sounds like a fair price for the amount of time necessary for someone to do a good job for you. I'm glad you found someone who will treat you fairly in a very tricky market.

I'm an optimist...but I've developed some realism skills in self-defense. When times are tough, optimism keeps me going, but sometimes, optimism can get me in way over my head. I think in most cases, our strongest strength can be our weakest weakness if it's not managed properly. I still miss the occasional deadline, but I work nights and weekends to meet my commitments if I'm over booked.

...I'm new to this forum. I don't mind playing my cards face up so what you see is what you get...but let me know if this is over-sharing.
