You do realize the Gulch is just an abstraction right? It doesn't exist but in the mind.

    Yes, it's that time of the year when I start doing more things outdoors and also with things at the draw down of the school year means more demands on my time as well. I missed a lot, but do sign in when I have some time to devote.

    I was in FL for 5 days, then Long Island for a reunion of my hubby's. What about you? I did lurk a few times, too, but there was too much for me to get involved on, and not enough time.....

    I can certainly understand your concern...I wonder if that is why so many in history have turned to religion as an answer to "where it all ends;" however, the question is "which religion?" Right?

    That's what scares me the most. We're headed for the collapse in precisely the same way the America of Atlas Shrugged collapsed... but there's no place for the rational men to withdraw to. By the time the collapse is complete, there'll be nobody left to kick-start the recovery.
