    Wow, drove through here a few months ago... this is just abuse... and there is always disobeying a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest... the magic three charges... above the law.. it applies to everyone but them... and this poor guy did nothing wrong and his son will grow up to know the truth, just because they have a uniform on, doesn't mean they are the good guys.....

    exactly... it is just used now to make us look like we are crazy...hunting rifles... after school it was a past time.. that or racing our cars on a back road...the good old days....

    Guys I went to high school with came with their guns in the gun racks in their pick up trucks, to school during hunting season. No one batted an eye. It was what kids did. They would not have dreamed of doing anything other than hunting with those rifles, either.

    there have been many police altercations due to citizens calling alarmed about people. we live in a country where people are conditioned to be fearful. More people need to start carrying their non-concealed weapons out to dinner

    If you called about a man with a gun around here you'd be laughed at. I lived in Houston for a year and there were always pickup trucks with gun racks, usually occupied gun racks. No one paid any attention. I think the press has a lot to do with spinning up the paranoia.
