value for value. Is there something to get? if we attain some value, we exchange for it a value. Even if THEY don't get it, We get it. If you get a value and give nothing in return you are stealing it.
Not stealing. Look at the society we'll create! I don't see many Indians walking (horses from Spanish, cars from US) or without TVs, even if they live on a res.
Just kidding, maybe we can make it an investment. We buy and they pay us back for the standard of living.
Beware of land around Paraguay., as the Bush political family has bought up the largest aquifer in South America near Paraguay. You might die of thirst, or pay through the nose.
There was a Gulcher who had a small hacienda in the wilds of Argentina, no? He was working up to the point of putting in solar panels, as I recall. The reason he liked/recommended Argentina was because it ignored the little guys out in the wide wide expanse of countryside.
Just not a good idea to consider any socialist/communist banana republic... Even if you think you have a deal, the next coup and despot comes along and we might be really screwed. Better to stick with more stable options.
These clowns took on the British Navy if you recall with row boats and ancient soviet fighters over a very long-standing protectorate of the crown if you recall... Evidence of not respecting sovereign lands/agreements.
Don't cry for me, Argentina. Me dino don't even wanna go visit down there. I thought of looking up a song in Youtube, though. What's the name of that movie I never saw?
On the way to downtown buenos aires are ten to fifteen public housing high rises that are completely destroyed and abandoned. As the song goes "when will they ever learn"
Let's not forget the fate of Argentina in Part Three, when Francisco d'Anconia set off his bombs and then left the Calendar Message in New York. I would imagine he left a comparable message in Buenos Aires: ¡Hermano, usted lo exigía!
I agree with your comment regarding military coups, but Bloomberg is not an unbiased source of information about any country that tells the banking cartel to take their manipulated contracts and shove them. I don't think any major media source is unbiased; the banking cartel hydra has serpent tentacles in all of them.
Oh, I am by no means promoting Bloomberg, but no news organization gets it wrong 100% of the time.
What I found of note was that Argentina had made a societal decision to embrace default. That to me was fascinating as it is the quintessential looter mindset.
Well, the US is being run by looters and banksters who are throwing away everything that has been built. Will you pay off their debts created without your consent? I won't. Most people in Argentina may be in the same situation.
Just kidding, maybe we can make it an investment. We buy and they pay us back for the standard of living.
