WHAT: Gulch Activity Monitor

DESCRIPTION: The Gulch Activity Monitor displays a “modal” alert dialog in real-time as activity happens in the Gulch. Activity types currently include comments and posts.

POINTS OF NOTE:
- The activity alert will remain open for 7.5 seconds and then automatically disappear.
- If you mouse-over the alert, it will remain in view until you mouse-out.
- New activity automatically goes into a queue.
- Alerts will continue to appear until the queue is empty.
- A link is provided in each alert to take you directly to the associated content.
- A setting to shut off alerts is forthcoming.

SUGGESTIONS FROM PRODUCERS ONLY BETA:
Zenphamy: Allow for an option to show alerts only from posts you are subscribed to or that you author. (NonMoochingArtist also liked this idea)
