Gulchers,

I'm turning 50 this year.

As such, I made a New Year's resolution to have the damned book I've been puttering around with for years finished by then.

About a month ago, I let Scott and Jay know about my intentions.
They have spent the past month helping me clear my Gulch programming queue and have been incredibly understanding in giving me a few weeks off to finish this book.

So, thank you, Scott and Jay.

In the next couple of weeks, I will be needing proof readers.

I can not offer much in compensation, but I can offer this:
* A copy of the finished e-book.
* A signed copy of the hard copy.
* A "thank you" in the credits.


Some considerations:

* The book will be about 200 pages long. However, some of that is whitespace (formatting of the satires, blank pages required by the publisher, blank pages to prevent text bleed over into adjacent illustrations, etc.)
* I would like the proofreading results to take no more than one week.
* There are *many* urls included in the notes. It is *not* required that you check each link (my wife Joan is doing that), nor is it required that you read each linked document (that would be near impossible and damned impressive).
* A pdf document of the draft e-book will be shared on a google drive, so you must have a google registered email address.
* If there are a lot of people who wish to participate, time constraints for collating all of the notes prohibit too many proof readers. So, even though I appreciate any acceptance of this offer, I might not be able to accommodate everyone.


The Gulch - Admins and Gulchers - have been very supportive of my Papa Possum satires, I thank you all for that.
