St. Peter will ask her questions, and she will demurr,
indicating that there have been so many who have
questioned her before ... that the answers are on
the record, somewhere. . he will not be impressed. -- j

If he thinks more than one move ahead, may be seeking to get her to perjure herself.

Looks like he's providing her with the rope for which she can hang herself.. Because if she agrees to sign that, and one more e-mail pops up, then she'll be committing perjury.

yes; she could have to resort to a "reset" button
which actually translated as "shut up." -- j

Once he gets her under oath (if he ever does) She can tell the truth, an option she fears the most, she can lie which is perjury, or she can take the fifth. For her, there is no good option That is why Gowdy will do almost anything to get her under oath.

My experience with lawyers is they specialize in slowing things down. If Gowdy had slam dunked Ms Clinton the blue party would have had time to field another candidate. The perfect slowdown for me would felony charges about two weeks after the democratic convention. Maybe even later than that because states have minimum time limits to get a candidate on the ballot. Imagine the shambles the progressives would be in if the heir apparent to Barack's utopia faced felony charges a month before election. That's not quick legal work, but it would be effective on several levels.

I'd still love for some online backup firm to "leak" to anonymous all the contents of that private email server. Though I doubt it will happen, it would put a nail in Hillary's ambitions and land her in federal prison.

Well, Hillary doesn't seem to think it makes any difference. And as we all know, what Hillary says, goes. Otherwise she'll be forced to stamp her foot and shake her fist.

I'm referring specifically to Hillary and her political aspirations. I never had any doubt that they know in advance that an attack was coming somewhere on the 9/11 anniversary, particularly with the elements that filled the vacuum when Mr. Obama pulled everyone out.

The smoking gun came a few days ago in a different post when it became clear that the government knew that the Benghazi attack was imminent 10 days before it happened.

Suppose Gowdy already has the smoking gun in the form of an incriminating e-mail that he got from a recipient, but not from her ladyship. If she swears under oath that she's turned over everything but her grandmother's fruitcake recipe, he's got her for perjury. Now perjury doesn't seem to be the crime that it once was, particularly to the Clintons, but it might be the final torpedo into Hillary's political aspirations.
